    i had no problem whatsoever studying for REG. But FAR is killing me, its like pulling teeth. you would think that passing would have given me motivation but no.

    Yup I just passed REG too and now need to start studying for FAR but I can't find the motivation right now!

    There were topics in FAR, which I don't know if I passed, that I did not like as much. I used the MP3 files to listen in the car, house etc. I just tried to do a lot of repetition with those. I thought the Gov/NFP were easy points.

    I know how you feel! I'm the opposite! Studying for FAR was fine for me, but REG is like learning a different language or something. I feel like I'm never going to remember the stuff in REG.

    im a tax accountant so that might be the reason why i didn't mind studying for REG. FAR is soo much information. It overwhelming at times.

    How did you manage to take all four parts in matter on 1.5 months? Were you part of Becker Fast Pace program? If so, would you recommend that?

    i”m taking my FAR exam in two weeks. I already viewed all lectures but way behind on the questions. Still on Chapter 5. I almost have no hope of passing this exam at the rate I'm going. I think i'll be going in taking it as a practice exam? Or does anyone think i still have a chance?? I work full time and my work commute is an hour away each way.

    I worked two tax seasons for a CPA and I am hoping that helps me study for REG which is next for me.

    @padmo – i agree with alot of information and zero motivation. I'm taking exams based on Becker's 6-month schedule. I feel like my motivation went down to zero after BEC exam.

    I still haven't checked any of my scores – i'll be checking them as soon as i take my FAR exam.

    how have you not checked your scores? i was going crazy. i couldn't concentrate at work. my billable hours this week were very very low. i tried to stick to a 7 month schedule but that went out the window. i went on a much needed vacation and then the sept 15th deadline came along so yea i extended it to having them passed by the first window next year

    i am with you in need for motivation.

    i finished my REG exam slightly more than two months ago, but i am in F3 the very first time right now, i could not sit down to study at all(today i haven't touched anything about FAR yet), FAR is my last section, and i am full time studying, i felt so embarrassed by my attitude. really need to stick on now because my NTS expires on Oct. 26th…..

    i totally understand. i took REG on July 1st. i should have been able to take FAR last window and i didn't. i have to force myself to study since my weekend is when i get the most done since i work full time. this is your last test. i would be trying to get done as soon as possible. you're almost done. Im on F3 and i want to take it by oct 20th so i need focus too.

    Well I just forced myself to watch a lecture for an hour! Hey its a start 🙂 The hubby gets home from his personal trainer course at five so I would like to feel as though I too accomplished something today!

    @pamdo – Well I told myself i won't check my scores until i take the last part. So i just don't think about it. I'm on F5 and my exam is on 10/08.

    Sitting there and watching these lectures is really boring… even working through these questions i want to punch my laptop. I found the other parts somewhat interesting to keep me going but not FAR. FAR is dreading…
