Keep your head up! It seems like those who score higher than a 75 the first time around on homework are watt sells award winners…let's be realistic – there are only 10 of those given out. 🙂

Just keep plugging away; work and re-work the multiple choice questions. When you get one wrong, go back and understand why you got it wrong. The homework is just a tool to help prepare you – not necessarily an indication of how you'd perform on exam day. Whatever you do, don't get discouraged!

    Good luck!

Thanks a lot! Is the progress test the same questions as the homeworks? Or are they different questions?

I'm taking my 5th attempt at BEC on the 30th of April. I'm doing the Wiley MCQs and have completed Corp, IT, and Econ, scoring in the 80%. I am also doing the CPAexcel course and scoring well there too. My biggest trouble areas in the past have been Fin Mgmt and Cost Acct mostly due to the overwhelming number of formulas. I received a 56, 65, 63, and my last score in Oct was a 72. So I am improving, in fact probably would have passed the last one but for a serious migraine requiring a demerol shot and an allergic reaction to Crestor just before the test. Anyway, I have to pass or I lose my AUD credit in May. Any tips?

Wish I had tips to pass along to you! I'm in the same boat though – just took attempt #3 on BEC and the result is yet to be determined. I'm actually planning on re-taking a live becker course just to try to get it done if the results are not favorable.

I just don't get why BEC is so darn difficult! I envy all of you who have passed that section!!!

I just started studying for BEC and it really has me scared! I thought FAR was difficult but I'm beginning to think I'll have a harder time with BEC. I think what made FAR difficult was the amount of information they required you to know. BEC on the other hand….different story!!!! Not sure if I've given myself enough time to study.

BECKS – i'm using becker to study as well. which chapter have you found the most challenging? I'm on chapter 3 right now and I'm not sure that I've learned anything thus far =(

    Good luck guys!

I am finishing chapter 3 now. It seems to me the hardest of the first three chapters. There are soooo many formulas to memorize!

I jus finished becker BEC3 as well…deinftlyyy a lot of formulas-my system involves a heck of a lot of post-it notes and decorating my cubicle with them hahaha im about to jump into IT (so bland!!!! but hoping there is crossover from AUD)

i just cant believe BEC is any harder than FAR, thats crazy. theres so much less, and i feel like it really depends on if you geta calculation test or a theory test, it seems like a lot of ppl this year have ahad theory

and @harry the progress test are a mixture of all hw's nd suppleemnetal questions….fyi my method so far has been BEC1,2,3 (read + HW)….then a week of progress tests for all 3 sections…now doing BEC4,5 (read+HW)…then supplemenetal questions for each chapter…thennnn writing comm

    then domination

FAR-75, AUD-82, BEC-82, REG-84 - CPAldog Official (well almost, hard parts over though!!!!!!!)
