If someone could clarify what changes in regulation CPA because laws were signed in December 2012 because I read that, but nobody specifies that is what will change, thank you very much for your help.

    FAR: 91, first attempt

    BEC: 86, first attempt

    AUD: 99, first attempt

    REG:???

I just released the REG NINJA Notes update.

Prior to July exams – 2012 was tested…now 6 mo after enactment of the new laws (2013) … know the 2013 #s…it's not a big deal, really.

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 76
    REG - 92

I don't think it matters either way. Unless Becker issues official updates, I'm not going to worry about it. Let's say Becker does update the text. I really don't think it will help or hurt.

The Becker updates look like a lot, but it's really not a big deal. A lot of the updates are for more obscure things (such as employer-provided parking) that I'm guessing/hoping won't be tested. Like Jeff has been saying on other threads, the Section 179 update is probably the most notable one. The change in the medical expense limitation to 10% of AGI (except for taxpayers 65 and older) seems like it would be good to know, as well.

This is upsetting. I am using Becker 2012 materials and am now worried I am not studying the correct amounts. The most recent 2013 updates on Becker reference different page numbers so it is hard to follow the changes. I have 3 weeks to study and cannot afford the extra research time. I feel stuck.

For the medical deduction change to 10% except if you are over 65 then its still 7.5% does that then mean that there is no longer an AMT adjustment since that was 10% or did the AMT one also change?

    AUD - 68, 74, 76 - DONE
    BEC - 78 - DONE
    REG - 52, 74, 74, 63, 74
    FAR - 68, 78 - DONE
