@sapna1208 I scheduled FAR for July 6. I haven't finished the Becker course yet so I'm not giving more weight to one section over the other, at this time. But I'm keeping track of what I'm weak in (e.g. deferred taxes) so that I can focus on it during the last two weeks of my review. Are you using only Becker or have you gotten some supplemental items? How far have you gotten with the materials?

Does anyone have any tips studying for FAR? It is the most intimidating to me. I am using Becker self-study and am currently in F2 but I already feel overwhelmed. Any tips on studying the GAAP/IFRS differences would be greatly appreciated!

Sapna : good luck with your preparation. At least you are done with lectures , I am still working on lectures. Are you from New jersey? I am from new jersey too .. lol

auburnmeg1211 : I have just finished F2 yesterday, I would be practicing 200 MCQ today from Becker. I know it’s overwhelming , make notes about the difference between IFRS and GAPP column wise.

My target is to finish 4 chapters by end of this week. Whts your study plan. I am planning to take exam 07/05/12 after long weekend.

@auburnmeg1211, I read a really good tip (don't recall who or I would give them credit). The individual took out the pages with the US GAAP versus IFRS differences from each chapter and put them in a binder/notebook to review.

@sapna, I am starting my summer job soon, so I'm not studying full time. Can't afford to just study, unfortunately. πŸ™‚
