Im about to take beckers final review test 1 in a few minutes. Hopefully I do ok! I will report back with results!

Tomorrow I take the exam at 12:30. This will be my first exam I take, are there any last words of inspiration/advice anyone can give me on what to do today to prepare!? I'm review gov't and NFP again and then I was just planning on doing a mcq review. I took both Becker practice exams and got about an 87% on the first and 89% on the second. Hoping I pass!

Having so much trouble with lease accounting >.< Time is running out and I still have to learn bonds, fixed assets and inventory by Friday (not to mention review everything). CRAP!!!!

Mine is August 30th..I am not sure yet but I have considered rescheduling to August..Ugh idk..But Lease accounting sucks! I am having big issues with bonds and note payable! This stuff is driving me insane!

Hey – I am taking FAR next Tuesday and am having some difficulty with Installment Sales.. is that a big topic on the exam or should I just devote my time to other areas..

@xwingdingx – yes I meant actually rescheduled to October – I had a typo but who knows..I have to decide by next week… Have fun with bonds! I need to go back to that next week…yuck.

@naptural80 – 5 AM that is dedication! Hopefully it wasn't too painful…That chapter is my least favorite I think

I took beckers practice exam and received an overall 74%, weighting the m/c 60% and the sims 40%. I know there is room for improvement but would this 74 cut it for the real exam? considering it is a bit curved.

Also, I noticed that in becker, putting the journal entries in different order knocked some points off. Is there a specific way like putting the most dollar amount as the starting entry?

Okay guys please tell me this all comes together. I am studying FAR and I feel as if it is sooooooo much information. I am still listening to lectures so I am at the beginning of my studies. Next I will copy the Ninja notes and then do the multiple choice questions in my Becker Review material. I feel overwhelmed at the moment and hope this starts to make more sense soon.

I am looking forward to my life after all of this is done!

It does all come together eventually. FAR was my first exam, and I remember feeling the same way, feeling like I was rushing through it all, not understanding anything as solidly as I wanted to. But you have to keep moving. During overall review time it starts to gel, and MCQ's will help. But that overwhelmed feeling tends to stay with you, so get used to it. lol

So because I feel that I am running very short on time and have soooo much studying to do before the exam, I decided to move it from the 27th to the 30th to give myself 3 more days of review. This material is just so overwhelming and way too much to absorbe in such a little amount of time. It is my last exam and I just want to pass and get my life back. Also because I get a bonus and a raise at work.
