iPassMemberI agree with Mini, pretty much everything I was tested on was covered by Becker & Wiley. I didn't do well on WC part as I ran out of time, but MC questions seemed to be right on. Of course, some questions were easier and some much harder than anticipated, I probably missed quite a few of them, but in terms of content there were no surprises.
I used Becker as my main source. About a week before the exam I practiced with Wiley tb hoping to see some new questions. I'd say Becker's passmaster and Wiley tb have a lot in common and share many questions, but overall I'm glad I went over Wiley MC in addition to Becker. I guess we'll see how it worked out in a few weeks when the scores are released.
BEC - 10/12/2011 - 78
AUD - 11/23/2011 - 84
FAR - 02/22/2012 - 76 (I'll take it!)
REG - 08/31/2012Win as if you were used to it, lose as if you enjoyed it for a change.

I also did Wiley tb & was scoring more than 89%. all MCQ from Wiley book, most of them were ok for me. but in the BEC exam, oh Gosh…i got 72 MCQ and 3 WC. I tried to allocate my time but since the MCQ were beyond my anticipation, 2:30 of my time gone there. for WC left with only 30min….terrible. i bow to those who make to pass BEC!!!!!! not feeling good to move on. how you guys able to start to study the next section. my next section is FAR, that was my favourite course while i was at college b/c it was really testing mine and my friends patience 8YEARS AGO. anyways please share me your thought.

iPassMemberI didn't manage my time properly, and just like you ended up with little time left for WC part, and there is no one I can blame other than myself. But don't stress out about it just yet, what's done is done, you gave it a try. If you didn't pass this time (which I hope is not the case) perhaps you know what to focus more on next time, how to allocate your time, etc. And who knows, maybe you did very well and the questions were just getting much harder and you'll get your passing score very soon!
You'll be alright, just hang in there! I read so many success stories on this forum, I can't even think of giving up so early! The only thing you can do right now is just get yourself together and move on to your next part.

Got2PassMemberI am having *serious* trouble with Topic 3 homework for Becker's BEC Section 5 … the part that covers Breakeven, Margin of Safety, Contribution Margin, etc. I understand the formulas straight-up but am having major issues with the questions. Any advice? Please help! I test Wednesday … at this point I am scared I won't make it. Really need to review … so mentally frustrated/down/confused that I feel like I have memory-lost all info I have worked on until know. Did anyone else have big problems with this topic's questions?? Or is it just me?? Maybe I am just not cut out for this.

SherridMemberI'm using Becker also and when I have a problem with a question I print it, and review it until I understand the concept. There are 102 questions in that section and it's difficult but you can do it. If there is any particular question that's more difficult for you let me know the number and I'll see if I can help.
