Hello all. I want to supplement the Becker materials with something extra to pass this exam on the first try. I am looking at the Wiley test bank for some additional questions, or the Gleim materials. Does anyone think that one is better than the other? Should I stick with just Becker? Someone at work mentioned that Becker by itself won't give you a 99, but is enough to pass. However, the extra MCQs from Wiley would help round out the study session, since this section is better understood by attempting problems rather than trying to only learn from the texts. I really do appreciate any suggestions that you may have! (I intend to sit for BEC in October 2011).

@ ZMan- I too use Becker but I feel it isn't enough. I have used Becker for each of my first attempts and keep scoring 74's so IMO it gets me close but not enough to get over the finish line. I use Wiley to get me over the hump and it worked for Auditing. I am doing the samething with BEC- 08/30. For BEC, I also downloaded Gleim's Test Prep- trial period, so that I could practice more Corp Gov mcq's. In addition, I also answered some mcq's from cpareviewforfree.com. I sure hope all these extra mcq's I've seen will help me cross the BEC finish line next week. I highly recommend you use more than one study tool. Becker just isn't enough for some of us.

I have my test the 30th and I just do not feel ready (even though I will have studied 110 hours by then!). I guess this is the typical feeling before an exam. This is the first one I've taken….

    BEC - 69
    AUD - NOT SCHEDULED
    FAR - NOT SCHEDULED
    REG - NOT SCHEDULED

Goodluck to all those who are taking BEC on the last week of testing window. You all can do it!! Believe in yourselves. I took mine last Aug 14 using Wiley textbook and cpareviewforfree tests bank. I felt good after the test, but let see how it goes when the scores are released. I am hoping and praying very hard as I am done with all sections and just waiting for the results for BEC and AUD. Just want to share my time management technique below for BEC. I hope it helps.

Just took BEC yesterday. I hope I don't regret saying this but I really didn't think it was that bad. I used Yaegar and I believe Cindy did a fantastic job. I felt very well prepared. I hope I don't live to regret being so positive! Good luck to all:)

@countnchickn did you use the Wiley testbank? If so, were the questions comparable (no specifics obviously)?

    BEC - 60, 71, 79
    AUD - 73, 66, 87!!!!! Yes! I am done!
    REG - 74, 76
    FAR - 75

Yaeger Review for all except my last AUD score (Roger)!

@sdb2fsu I did use Wiley testbank. I felt they were comparable and possibly a bit harder then the exam. I felt well prepared using the software.
