They don't count one of the WC so you may be lucky in that respect. Even if it did, you can still pass if you did decently on the MCQ since the WC only count 15%. I finished my WC but only had 8 or 9 minutes for the last one. I finished, but the screen literally disappeared as soon as I typed the last word. Needless to say, it was not well-written.

    FAR 4/1/11 - 89
    AUD 4/15/11 - 85
    REG 4/29/11 - 80
    BEC 5/13/11 - 85

“Are we allowed to talk about how many calculation-based questions we may see on a BEC exam?”

I don't think so, but some people do and get away with it.

People get different exams; some get exams loaded with calculations and some get exams with little to none at all. Luck of the draw, really.

    [From Yesterday]

    Just took BEC this morning.

A good 30% of the questions were common sense business questions not covered by Becker.

Most of the questions were doable. Written Communication was a breeze.

God help me get a 75 or higher. I kept track of my questions and confidence for every question (40-Sure, 20-Select between two answers, 8-select between 3 answers, 4-total guess). Using a weighted avg, I think I landed somewhere around a 70% and much closer to 100% on the WC. Most of the questions seemed medium to difficult. We'll see how it plays out…in two damn months.

2 more weeks until my BEC test. I worked MCQs non stop this past weekend. My weak areas are the calculations of course. Corporate Governance, IT, Performance measures seem to be a breeze. It's all the cost accounting, etc that is killing me. I will conquer it in the next 2 weeks!
