I don't recall getting the same questions twice. But I do think my third testlet was easier than my second testlet, which really scares me.

I did only the IT from cpareviewforfree. I did get a question that had the teminology used by cpareviewforfree. It wasn't the same question though and that terminilogy was never mentioned in Becker review.

I took my BEC exam on 05/26/2011 and I observed one question repeated. This is my third time attempting this exam. The questions were very, very hard. First two attempts 70,72. Not sure I will get close to my previous scores.

Anyone else feel that the corporate governance section is completely ridiculous? COSO and ERM are some of the most convoluted topics I've ever come across. There is a seemingly endless barrage of sections, subsections, and sub-sub sections. ERM is broken down into 8 components and each one of those sections has a subsection that has 5-8 components to it, and even THEN those sub-subsections are sometimes broken down 3 ways. What makes it worse is that the same words are being constantly used throughout, mainly: control activities, risk, monitoring, assessment, environment, etc over and over again. Its an exercise in memorization and mental games because there really is no content here to learn. My advice to people: spend your time memorizing what these lists are and hope to get 50% of these questions right on the test, while hoping to nail the rest of the sections (including the writing portion)

I just got done taking BEC. It seemed my 2nd testlet had more calculations and was more wordier than the first, but the last section was medium; more thinking questions but not as many calc's – anyone know what this might mean?

Also, there was one simpler calculation question (won't disclose what the calc was of course) but I worked and re-worked it and I SWEAR had the right answer and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong; the correct answer wasn't a choice. I spent way too much time on it because I knew my answer was right b/c I even had another of the exact same calc with different variables like this earlier in the exam (and had it ‘down' before I went into exam) and looked back at my scratch paper to make sure I wasn't thinking of it wrong. Weird. Maybe it's a blurp like the repeat questions people have mentioned above.

The wait begins! This is my 2nd BEC attempt; my last exam and if I don't pass lose FAR. Would love to find out in June I can give my life back to my family and friends!

Good luck to everyone else waiting!

I have to say, BEC was ridiculous…. I did the tests in the back of the Wiley book and out of the 24 in each of the 3 testlets i got no more than 4 wrong per testlet… I took my test yesterday and I felt like I barely studied.. I had all the key formulas memorized so i feel those proabably went okay but the theory questions I felt I was not prepared for. I read the whole text book and was getting passing scores on theory and calculation related questions. I felt the essays for the most part weren't that bad… Just hoping I get lucky I guess..

    AUD: PASSED
    FAR: PASSED
    REG: PASSED
    BEC: PASSED

    FINALLY DONE!
