    My opinion is the following….Becker does cover this material; however, they do not cover it enough on the lectures or in the practice questions. My suggestion would be to study the ancillary material extra hard. Make sure you understand the differences of the different objectives and how to apply it with examples etc. If you have the flashcards, this will help. The flashcards do a better job on highlighting/summarizing the SOX's into an outline format. I hope Becker adds more practice questions on this topic in the future.

    @ WhyMe23. I think that becker did not cover most of the COSO and espically SOX questions. I reviewed becker's COSO and SOX material and the questions I got didn't come close to what they emphasized. The other material like IT and finance was okay but not these two topics. I am hoping that they were pretest questions, but who knows? I studied multiple hours a day, but I may have to retake it. I felt okay with the other topics, but I had to guess on many of these questions.

    I took BEC today only using Becker w/o flashcards. Felt like they, as usual, prepared me for 90% of the questions. I felt like my BEC was mostly easy Becker MCQ's. A few from left field, but with an area as broad as BEC, hard to cover everything.

    @ BobTheCPAlmost, Did you get a lot of COSO and SOX questions out of leftfield, or was I the unlucky one?

    When I took BEC in Q1, I was NAILED with Corporate Governance. I don't see how they all could have counted since they don't have any statistics to fairly compare us to.

    16-20% of the exam is this topic that had a mere 24 questions in Wiley and 35 questions in Becker. As a supplement I used CPAReviewForFree. I scored “comparable”.
