I was just about to order Roger's BEC USB course because I thoguht his lectures would work well with my learning style – then I saw the price when I looked at my shopping cart and just about blew a gasket – even with the ‘fresh start discount'! The cost of the course isn't bad but the fees that are tacked on were a little too steep for my blood.

I think I have some hot and steamy study dates up ahead with Pete, Tim, and Mike as I prepare for the final showdown with my Becker materials…Those boys got me up to gold status at the local starbucks in no time! 🙂

Here's to all of us getting BEC conquered this window!!! 🙂

Becks, I'm with you! I reach my goal status AND got my free coffee! The disadvantage….I've also gain 10 lbs during this process….argh!

@ErinBrookTX; just wait until you're 3/4 of the way done. If you're on the same track I am you'll have gold status secured for another year. Just got my 3rd card for a free beverage. 🙂

I also know just about all of the employees at the local Starbucks on a first name basis…Even they keep asking me if I've passed everything yet. LOL

I'm not far behind you either, I just found out I gained 3.4 lbs….stupid banana chocolate chip coffee cake they CLAIM is low-fat!

And for the record, the next time I see my favorite barista there, I will be telling her she made my coffee slightly off the morning of the last exam I took since I got a 74. She'll get a kick out of that one. 🙂

I recently failed BEC with a 73 and found from my score report that I was weak in corp gov. I used Roger to study and now switched to Yaeger for this section. However, both courses use the Wiley book and there is not enough information related to this topic and very few mcq's. Can someone please give me some advice on some other course that I can use to supplement my study of corp gov. I'd really appreciate it!

I recently failed BEC with a 73 and found from my score report that I was weak in corp gov. I used Roger to study and now switched to Yaeger for this section. However, both courses use the Wiley book and there is not enough information related to this topic and very few mcq's. Can someone please give me some advice on some other course that I can use to supplement my study of corp gov. I'd really appreciate it!

@wannabetxacctnt I'm in your exact position. I found Becker doesn't have a lot of MCQ's to really help master this topic. I created an outline (I learn better this way) from my flashcards. I have been going through this list nightly. If you find something, let me know. 🙁

I am going to see if I find stuf on the COSO framework online and also a few relevant SOX titles…still don't know where to find more mcq's on corp gov though, will keep you posted if I find something. When are you retaking BEC?
