Get Bob Monette's (BISK) Hot Spots for Financial Management and Cost Accounting. If Bob Monette does not teach the course for Bisk, do NOT buy the Hot Spots.

Additionally, you have a lot of individual scores from your failed BEC exams. Use those failed exams to your advantage. The beauty of Gleim is that Gleim's 20 chapters line up perfectly with the AICPA scores. You will be able to design your own tests for your specific weak areas within financial management and cost accounting.

If you fail again, do not give up. Start all over again with Yaeger. Cindy will make you an expert in cost accounting. Cindy at Yaeger's is the best teacher for BEC.

I don't know. I am only using Becker. My friends who passed told me to me to just redo all the mc questions until I know them during my sleep!

    BEC 77
    FAR 81
    AUD 97
    REG 75

The most important thing to know is what you do not know. Understand WHY you missed the questions. Do NOT memorize the answers. The questions in Becker are old questions from BEC exams. All review programs use the same AICPA test bank.

Go on the Internet and do the questions on “CPA Review for Free” when you finish Becker. Let's face it. If CPA candidates do a minimum of 2,000 questions, they will most probably pass.

I have to agree that Becker did not prepare me well for BEC. I was able to pass FAR, AUD and REG on first attempt. However, I failed BEC twice now (73, 68) with a lot hours of studying daily since I am not working. 🙁

I am looking into getting new study materials (i.e. Wiley from Amazon, free CPA review, etc). Congratulations to all that passed and good luck to others on your next exam!

Back to the BEC drawing board for me. I can't believe I did worse than before. I have to get these scores going in the right direction. Well no time to worry about it. I'm feeling good about my study habits for Audit, prayerfully I will pass something soon!

    BEC - 75 (Prayed Hard)
    AUD - 85 (Thanking God!)
    REG - 77 (Yes, Lord!!)
    FAR - 4/20/12
