@sillie….wish i could help…but i have been going at this pretty much for 6 years now (in the beginning i wasnt taking serious) , and i have also lost a part and started from scratch..i feel your pain..

only advice i could give is maybe switch up study materials….

i started with becker way back when…barely studied, got nowhere…..

then i started to take more seriously and used yaeger..passed reg..fail, fail, time off, fail, more time off, by bye reg passing score..lol

starting beginning of 2012 i switched it up….ordered exammatrix software for audit..passed….stuck with that for regulation..passed…….and now been using for BEC..and hopefully another pass (fingers crossed)

just an idea for you..exammatrix is kinda cool it comes up with study sessions based on what it calculates you need more work in…pretty afordable also in case you do decide to look into it.

I like taking a break from MCQs and re-writing notes too…it's a nice break…actually I'm about to start it now…ha ha. I'm going to re-write my weaker sections to try and remember some key points. Surprisingly, I'm actually remembering formulas now after doing to many MCQ. It's the word questions that I tend to get wrong ;(

I just started studying for BEC tonight. Started with writing tips, and now I am not so sure I even speak English! Anyways, does anyone know what the writing problems will be about? Not necessarily specifics, but will it be limited to BEC topics, or will all aspects of accounting (audit, tax) be fair game? Thanks in advance for any insight.

I am not confident with the IT section of BEC provided by Becker. Are there free resources on IT stuff?

For those who have taken BEC, did Becker prepare you enough for the IT section on the test?

My test is tomorrow. I've reread the material three times already. I'm going to skim over all my books tomorrow as my exam is at 5PM. I'll also focus heavily on IT and COSO and the few formulas that I don't always remember like DOL.

I feel pretty good about the exam. Hopefully I feel the same way tomorrow night.
