How “standardized” can I make the writing section? In other words, if I start and end all three memos the exact same way, with a sprinkling of similar “big words” throughout would I be penalized? Obviously, assuming it made sense in the memo to use the wording I choose. I'd really like to be able to memorize a standard template in my head rather than have to bust out three original drafts because I'm a slow writer (writing was never my strong suit) and I don't want time to become an issue.

I just took the exam today. And, 90% of what is in the Practice Exam #2 is not even on the test. Don't be discouraged.

I would have to say a lot of the questions were not what I focused on studying. There were only few calculations.

Hi everyone, I am planning to study for FAR using Becker 2011 materials, if I print out all the updates from the becker site do I have a standing chance using just these materials against the 2012 exam?

@krystal83 – I have 4.5 days left to study. My exam is on the 5th day.. I am almost done doing all the MCQ's twice in Becker. The calculation (variances/cost) put me back a few days.. I spent a lot of time on that. Should I just focus the majority of my study time on understanding concepts, rather than detailed computational questions? I am actually freaking out.. I feel like anything goes for this exam. I have not taken final exam #1 or #2 yet. I will do #1 on 8/6 and #2 on 8/7. My exam is on 8/8.

I am planning on finishing the MCQ's twice by the end of today. I am also going to start doing randomized 25-50 question MCQ's through Becker as well as conceptual questions in the test bank(which I have not utilized for BEC yet). Do you think Becker was sufficient?

Also as far as the WC what did you study for that? I have not watched Beckers 40 min lecture on that, nor have I skimmed the text on it. I think Im a good writer when I need to be… Maybe Ill just look over the text when I have free time..

Idk about anyone else but I'm having a REALLY difficult time studying for BEC. I keep reading over passages thinking, “i don't careeee!” I prefer studying for FAR over BEC anyday. Taking the exam is a different story though lol
