Guys, the material picks up- I promise you. A few times I straight up had to stop for the day, go home and do whatever else.. next day picked right back up and everything started clicking. Took BEC as my first exam and followed becker to the T.. and honestly I did NOT do that well on the M.C.s and final practice test thing.. did just fine on the real exam however.

Focus on the M.Cs!! Do them over and over and over again.

@L337, do you mean it gets better in upcoming chapters? I hope so haha. It took me 5 hours today to get through the 120 questions in B2, but I am meticulous.

    FAR 4/9/12- PASSED
    BEC 7/13/12- PASSED
    AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!
    REG-12/6/12 PASSED

    USC MAcc- Fight on!

They say good things come to those who wait, but only those things that are left by those who hustle.

some chapters took that long for me as well.. i was getting pretty discouraged.. but understand the concepts and you'll be fine. Definitely read in detail with regards to the ones you get wrong though. The MCs trained me more than well enough.

@Journey, I feel your pain. I think those sections are hated on automatically by most candidates. What materials are you using? I'm using Wiley testbank and could not understand what it was asking me to do. I was able to get ahold of some becker mcqs and it seemed to explain those sections a little better. I also did a Google search for those sections to see if I could find a different way to understand it. Do whatever you can to understand those sections because you MUST know them. Good luck–I'm doing my BEC restudy so we're in this together!

@EEL: I am using Yaeger/Wiley test bank. I think Im okay on those sections…im starting to make my way through the rest of them and I am sure I will be back to those sections in no time. As you know, some days are better than others and am just trying to grasp everything possible. when are you taking your exam? whats your study schedule like/study habits?

Well, I took BEC on 5/30 and got a 70. That was after studying for 3.5 weeks at about 6-10 hours a day. I don't have an exam date yet but I'm thinking the second week of July. Maybe the 9th….I'm not going to kill myself by doing 6-10 hours of studying this time around. I figured I would shoot for 4 hours and if I'm feeling okay then I'll do a little more and possibly a more on the weekends. That should give me approx. 100-130 hours of additional study time so that I can tie up those loose ends that I was struggling with before.
