    Shay,

I ordered my book from Amazon. I tear the questions out so that I can take them with me to work and study on the subway and study at my desk at work during lunch. I think there are a lot of great test prep courses out there. The Wiley/Becker combo has worked for me in Audit and the Gleim/Becker combo worked for me in Reg. In my opinion and experience, the more you are exposed to different questions the better.

    AUD - Passed 88
    REG - Passed 87
    BEC - Passed 78
    FAR - Passed 75

@shay The only reason I used cpareviewforfree was just to see how questions can be worded. Using Becker is fine but I was just afraid that I was going to get used to their format of questions and be completely and utterly shocked by the actual test. This didnt end up being the case but I just worry a lot over silly things. Haha check out the AICPA website, they have a practice exam on there.

Other than that I marked I think 15 total for all three testlets. I knew what each question was asking but I marked the ones where I had narrowed it down to two and then went back and spent extra time on each. About 5 of the 15 I marked I was not able to decipher which of the two I had narrowed it down to was the correct answer and so I tried to guess the best one. There wasn't any question that made me say, “what the heck is this?” So I felt good about that. haha

Form is temporary, class is permanent.

    Audit 4/19/12 - 77
    BEC 5/31/12 - 75
    FAR 8/30/12

What's the best way to study for BEC? I feel this section is worse than the other 3 combined! Talk about details and formulas…geez. So frustrating…I think if i would have taken this section first, i would have given up.

After studying for BEC, I now remember why I changed my major from Finance to Accounting. This section is killing me! I've been trying to stay off these boards, but misery loves company! Out of the 3 sections I've studied so far, this one is the worst. I'd rather take both FAR and AUD again!

@apbandj-I thought I wrote your post! You took the words right out of my mouth. I would rather take FAR and AUD 20 more times than deal with this!

I think they took everything from FAR that I hoped wouldn't be tested and threw it into BEC. It's awful.

I really thought it was just me-nice to know I'm not alone. Gotta love this site.
