Alright, back from BEC today. Overall, not as bad as I was expecting. I felt like I knew the material pretty well, but I was just worried how they would present it.

First testlet I thought was somewhat easy. I was only unsure about 2 and had a pretty good feeling about those. Spent about 30 minutes on it. Second testlet was much more difficult. Longer questions, very wordy and some topics I was unfamiliar with. Spent about 50 minutes there. Third was similar to the first. I left about an hour for the WC, which was my goal.

I'd say I had about 8-10 calculations per testlet. Some very easy, some were obviously more difficult. All pretty similar to Becker/Wiley. I thought the heaviest topics were COSO and Financial Management, but like everyone else said, pretty much every topic got tested. They also used a different vocabulary for some topics, so just be aware of that.

Now the waiting game…

Good news Pete, sounds like it went well! I'm sure if you're not panicking then you passed! How would you rate the difficulty in comparison to each Becker Final Exam? I have my test on Monday and I'm taking the 2nd Becker Final Exam tomorrow. Thank you!

I didn't take the second Becer Final Exam, so I'm not sure about the difficulty there. I did take the First Test, and I would probably say it was harder than the actual exam. I think Becker's questions prepare you well. If you can understand the logic of what you're doing in the homework, you should have no problem on the exam.

I couldn't have said that better myself and I've heard that from many CPA'a. “If you can understand the logic of what you're doing in the homework, you should have no problem on the exam.”

Good luck everyone! I'm taking BEC next Wednesday, one of those NTS expiration deals. I'm cramming hard now, a lot of this info is familiar to me, except IT. Does anyone know how hard IT has been tested?

If anyone want to do extra practice for next week test ..try Free 2012 Whole Gleim Practice test which really confidence booster contrary to Becker. I am currently using Becker so far did good on other 3 exam. this is my last one and I always take Free Gleim Practice Test to make me confidence prior to Main Event.

I just took at practice exam from 2011 AICPA exam and got a 50% out of 40.

I was working on Q's for freecpareview earlier and I was getting the “easy” questions wrong.

I think the small details might kill me on this exam. I'm hoping my elimination skills are sharp the 29th.
