My exam is Wednesday, so I'm in the home stretch. I'm feeling prepared, but not confident. Consistently scoring mid 80's, low 90's on all areas. Progress tests have been going well too. I'm grasping at things to review, but at this point there is nothing left to do but take the exam. Any areas you wish you had focused more time on?

    FAR - 68, 79
    AUD - 82
    REG - 71, 71, 80
    BEC - 76

    CMA
    Part 1: October 2013
    Part 2: January 2014

    @ Cpa soon,

If you know the accounting terms well you should work on building coherent and complete sentences. Based on previous posts, the WC should have at least 3 paragraphs: introduction, a body to address the issue, and a conclusion.

Make sure that your memo has no orthographic or grammatical errors.

    Good Luck!!!

    Done 😉

Marivy22, would you say that Becker prepared you well or were they lacking?

Also, how were the difficulty level of the calculations vs. what becker had?

    Thanks

I felt like becker prepared me just fine. However…the writing communication couldn't be helped. I got asked specific questions about things that I weren't familiar with.

    B 2/12 87
    A 11/11 90
    R 8/11 86
    F 5/12 88

I'm on here because I just took the BEC portion of the CPA exam, and feel like Becker was a complete failure in preparing me for the exam. I studied for over 2 months, weekdays and weekends since I'm not working, and felt completely lost during the examination. I haven't received my results, but I'm 99% sure I failed. Everything I mastered and memorized was for nothing. I felt that I knew that book and flashcards from front to back, and maybe about 30% of what I had studied was on the exam. I'm considering Wiley or some other program. Any recommendations? I see from posts made around a year ago that other test takers had problems with Becker-BEC as well. PLEASE HELP!
