@pistolpete I had a few FAR questions that were not in the BEC Becker review. And yes rename BEC COSO or IT I was so thankful that a lot of my studying went into that section.

Anyone have any resources for COSO or COBIT reading that they found beneficial? Looking for some indepth details that traditional review courses may not cover.

I took the exam recently and made the mistake of focusing too much on certain topics that I didn't even get tested on!!! I know I will have to retake BEC but like shutterbug said, do not overlook the little stuff. Make sure you remember ALL of the formulas and terms. There were a couple of management and IT questions that I remembered learning in college but not through Becker. So maybe you can give your old textbooks a try. But I wish you the best of luck and hopefully you won't choke like I did.

Yes, memorize all of the formulas. Also know what makes up each formula– what goes into each variable.

@Cpa soon, you need to know how to calculate fixed and variable MOH variances.

If you have your review with Yaeger.. look on the handout. Srsly this is the only section Cindy did a good job on.

@Cpa soon- it's VERY likely to be tested. This Youtube channel really helped me with understanding variance (since Becker was a completely failure):
