I hadn't made that connection because of the asset turnover ratio – but, that's a great help – Thanks Lady in red, you've saved me a lot of grief!

Hi Everyone, I'm taking BEC on Feb 27th. This is my 3rd time taking it. I hope I pass this time or I'll be very disappointed. I've always been a good student, but I have a habit of studying right before the exam and historically this has worked for me but I can tell that the CPA exam is a different beast altogether. I'm not used to studying after work and further I find myself not having any motivation to study despite working in public accounting and knowing its importance to my career. Is there anyone in a similar situation? How do you find your motivation??

Hey everyone!! I'm attempting BEC for the first time this week, and had a question about the essays. Is it set up where you have access to all 3 essays (like the tabs in the simulations where you can go back and forth between questions), or do you get one essay at a time, and have to submit it before you can see the next one? Thanks in advance for your help!

BEC 83 - first try!! (Expires Aug 2013 eeeek!)
    AUD 68,71,74,75 (finally)!!!
    REG 60, 63, 74, Retake July 2013
    FAR 64, retake May 2013

For anyone out there who has taken the BEC portion of the CPA exam, I have some questions regarding how you prepared for the written communication portion. I feel pretty confident in my writing skills, however I am less confident in my ability to come up with enough to say on the topics that they might give me. I use Becker to study and I am trying to practice on their simulation questions. I am having trouble coming up with things to say because even though I know the topics well enough to answer the multiple choice questions (well mostly), I am having trouble pulling the information out of my head that I need. Does this make any sense? What did you guys do to prepare for the written communications? Did you practice, or did you just know the material well enough so that you could wing it? Thanks in advance for your help!
