@Roach Yea, im seeing that, its allll coming back to me now, suprisingly, i like the way they taught cost accounting than my undergrad professor, it makes more sense now. breaking it down in sections is working for me too. @Mike F. 20 calculations! ill take that! I feel the non calculation questions are the easiest.

Went to BEC yesterday. Got 74 in November.

I prepared for 4 weeks, about 80 hrs this time. I did Becker 2-3 times, AICPA released MQ, all examples in the book.

The exam was 3x more difficult than in November. First teslet was medium difficult, the second was hard and the 3rd was mostly heavy calculations.

Testlets 1 & 2 had 8 MQ with calculations, the 3rd one had 12 so 28 MQ with calculations!

The rest, were some easy ones and some poorly worded ones.

I had only 20 minutes left for the essays, which were not difficult.

Now the waiting beggins.. Do you think I have a chance to pass???

Did anyone take BEC at the end of 2011 (November) and use the 2011 Becker materials to study for 2012? In other words, does anyone know if there were many changes from 2011 to 2012? I'm hoping not : )

Sounds like you prepared really well! There's no way to tell with these exams, but it seems like you have a good chance!

Hi,

I've been trying to really learn all the ratios needed instead of just memorizing them, but have been having difficulty with figuring out which ones use an ‘average' in the ratio, rather than a ‘total'. Am I missing something, or, are these just ones I'll have to memorize after all?
