@ CPA – Convertible. Thanks you for your kind suggestions. You have perfectly pointed out the right problem with me. It was very surprising since you have exactly explained the thing which I really need to understand as I am having a hard time working on calculation questions in cost accounting, financial decisions, variance analysis, and other misc calculations.

I am planning to take these chapters in this coming week. It will grateful if I can ask you few more question on this as you seem to be very good with you fundamental understanding of these concepts.

    Thanks again.

And one more thing can you please tell me which book were you referring to?

@parina. you are welcomed to ask anything as long as I know I can answer correctly. I used Becker for both my AUD and BEC, so I meant the Becker review textbook. let me know if you have any questions on any calculation concepts. Have fun studying.

    Hi all,

Been lurking for a while, but never registered until today. I have taken BEC twice (supposed to be the easier section) and received 74 2x…. This last time I had some m/c FAR questions and some Audit questions in my BEC exam. What gives with that? I wish they would have informed us that they would be testing some of those topics in BEC.

    @ Peanut

Im using Becker. I was told that there would be some crossover from other exams in the w/c, but not in the m/c.

I'm using Becker as well. I also purchased the Wiley online test bank, and I noticed a lot of FAR & AUD related questions in their test bank. In Becker I thought chapter 1 had some AUD related questions but not necessarily FAR. What's your plan of attack this time around? I might suggest purchasing an additional test bank to help get you over that hump! You're so close, you got this next time!

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
    BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58

    Thanks Peanut.

I plan on buying Wiley just to get a new perspective on some of the questions. I will defeat this exam the next time!!!

    Hello,

I need input/advice on which accounting software to purchase. I am taking BEC cpa exam again after failing numerous times under Becker CPA review course. This is the last cpa exam I need to pass!

Please provide your input. I am undecided between YAEGER or ROGERS cpa review online courses.

They both cost around $400……so this is a big investment on my end.

Which one do you recommend? Please provide your feedback as I will greatly appreciate your advice 🙂

(need to desperately pass BEC in Jan/Feb 2012 window as I don't have anymore patience nor time……..thank you)
