I am going to start studying using Becker for the BEC exam on November 30th. Is this time-frame realistic if I don't have work or classes, just studying? My plan is to have 1 day to complete each chapter, then 5 days of a final review.

Let me know if you guys think that is a reasonable and realistic study plan or not…

    Any special tips for BEC?

    REG: 73 73 79
    AUD: 64 64
    BEC: 11/30
    FAR:

FAR, AUD & REG were all released the same day they were scheduled. Part of the BEC scores were released that day & the remaining ones were released the day after. So, I am hoping the BEC scores for the second window will be released the same way, which would be Monday & Tuesday. This is the fastest I will get a score back & the wait is agonizing! 🙁

    AUD - 89
    REG - 79
    FAR - 82
    BEC - 84

    @redsox0407

It's realistic only if you're retaking BEC…or you plan to stay focused 8 hours each day.

I just took BEC yesterday. Over the past four months I have gotten a 90 on FAR, 91 on REG, and 92 on AUD. My first testlet was moderately difficult, the second seemed harder, and the third was nearly impossible. In the third, of the 24 questions, at least 14 of them were 100% guesses without even being able to narrow them down to a choice of two. I am beyond frustrated. I remember some of the questions, and haven't been able to find the answers to any of them in my Becker material or online. I don't know how I could possibly pass, but I have heard that it is technically possible only getting around half right if you get extremely hard questions. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?

😀 Don't worry, you passed. Very few people share your experience, because most of us get medium-harder-medium testlets.

Medium-harder-impossible means you pretty much nailed it 🙂

Has anyone not finished their last WC in BEC and still passed? I am worried because I ran out of time on my last WC. I only had 21 minutes going into them, so my first two may have been “ok”. I feel confident about the MC, went medium-extremely harder- medium.

    Passed FAR, REG, AUD

    BEC – 11/12, tomorrow???????

I took BEC yesterday and felt pretty good about it…now for the wait. My plan is to start studying for FAR right away so I really hope I passed this time. I could really use the extra motivation I need to get through FAR. Come on Dec 7th…well actually Dec 9th for us in TX.

    BEC - 69, 70, (08/26/2012)
    FAR - 11/2012
    AUD - TBD
    REG - TBD

I've just finished BEC and agree with Ana's opinion above. The calculations weren't that bad – some were simple formula use, some had a trick or two, and just a few were wth? Wiley book/testbank had much more complicated problems.

The theory questions were a different story – I felt like the book didn't prepare me well for those. And I feel like IT shouldn't be tested at all.
