Becker does not have anything about the IAS. It does not mean they are not tested. I just shared my experience with Becker.

I am testing on 20th Jan. I am studying through Becker but my progress tests scores throughout is in the 50's. Can anyone suggest how should I approach this section. I went through whole material once and then started hitting on mcq's. What different can I do?

Hi Jen 🙂 Thank you, but I would rather not be here lol

Yes, I am finally back with studying. Yesterday, was my first day.

    – Keep yourself positive and keep studying. It should click at some point. Make sure you do MCQ each time you finish the corresponding material (or do the MCQ first). Hope you did not finish the whole Becker course without doing any questions.

    Hey guys,

I have been studying for BEC for about 3 months now going back and forth through the material. Currently I'm on Chapter 3 of my Beckers Review Course. I thought I'd take a mid term test to see where I am at and I can't get over a 70% and the score keeps going lower. I am losing that motivation. I just don't know what to do. I have the determination to pass the CPA Exam. I just need help, tips, and advice. I work full-time and study from 7:30pm – 10:30pm. Any help, advice, tips would really be appreciated.

    HELP!!!

Currently struggling between the race to get through the material to meet my goal exam date and going at a comfortable place where I understand the process. Using Becker and Gleim test bank and practice sims.I'm definetly learning as I go but at a slower pace than I imagined. Kinda bumING me out

@Shanil the only advice I can really give is to continue hitting the MCQs until you have a good grasp on the concepts. Or find videos that will help you understand areas you struggle in. It's a tough exam and it looks like you're still at the beginning, so don't get discouraged. Just keep pushing through and refresh periodically to make sure you don't lose the information you learned at the beginning.

Can anyone provide a link for a full credit written communication example? I'm on attempt #4 on 1/19, 73 the last 2 times! The 2nd time I did stronger in WC this last time was comparable so I just want to make sure that I nail down the WC on 1/19!

I took my BEC exam this morning and I am feeling indifferent about it (naturally). I felt like the sims and written communications were on a silver platter for me and I knocked them out of the park. The MCQ on the other hand were a toss up. Lots of IT questions, which I didn't feel prepared for, but at the same time there were plenty of variance analysis questions which I was comfortable with… now the wait begins… 🙁

Sounds like you've got a fighting chance!!! I hope I feel that way after my exam. Last time, I walked out and told everyone it would be a miracle if I passed. I was not at all surprised to see the failing score.

I took BEC this afternoon. I felt like the MCQs were manageable…kind of. But the SIMs were a nightmare to me. Part of it was it was ssooo hard to look at the question and the resources on the single monitor. It kept frustrating me that I couldn't see all the info I needed at once.

    I don't know. It's a toss-up. I don't feel like I did well, but I've felt that way on every other exam I've taken.

Going to try and relax for a couple of weeks before busy seasons settles in.

Good luck to everyone still studying and/or waiting on scores!

    Hello all,
I am currently studying BEC and scheduled to take the exam on 2/10. I have so far passed FAR & AUD, and am waiting for my score on REG (exam taken on 1/5/2018). I began to feel tremendous amount of pressure on passing the exam lately, and the anxiety is killing. I wasn’t feeling too pressured when I went through the first two parts, but I got so worried on not passing REG and BEC. Any suggestions on reducing the mental stress that I am experiencing? I know it is not the end of the world, but my mind is just not at ease. I don’t think that helps in any way for me to eventually get everything done, but I just can’t seem to stop worrying.

    @Jennifer

What does your daily study session look like? Also, how periodically should I go back and refresh the things that I have studied because I feel I am not retaining the study material.
