    @jennifer I'll tell you if Wiley prepared me in 2 hours when I see my score lol. Honestly I used Ninja to supplement and don't think there is any software to prepare for the IT portion properly. If I passed I suspect it was a function of lots of IT pretest questions and also doing well on Sims and wc.

    I don't know how you're able to not look! The not knowing if I was done drove me crazy. You must have a ton of willpower, my friend.

    Took BEC in September and received a 61. Since then, I've invested in the NINJA products. Refusing to take this thing more than 2x

    Just found out I passed REG retake woo. I have 2 cracks at BEC, of course I do not want to take it the distance and would really like to pass in Q1. I got a 63 on BEC over the summer…I am using Becker, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Got a 73 on BEC and I have one chance left before the end of January to pass it before I lose AUD. This is my last section, so I am hoping I can figure out a way to get 2 more points.

    Can anyone help me with this one?

    A company has a required rate of return of 15% for five potential projects. The company has a maximum of $500,000 available for investment and cannot raise any capital. Details about the five projects are as follows:

    Project Initial Outlay NPV at 15% Internal Rate of Return
    1 $500,000 $125,000 23%
    2 $250,000 $75,000 17%
    3 $150,000 $25,000 35%
    4 $100,000 $50,000 25%
    5 $150,000 $50,000 25%

    A. Projects 2,3, and 4 only
    B. Projects 3,4, and 5 only
    C. Projects 2,4, and 5 only
    D. Project 1 only

    I picked B, as 3,4, and 5 have the highest IRR AND come in under the $500,000 maximum capital available. The answer, however, is C. The explanation to the answer doesn't match what was shown in the book and doesn't make sense to me.

    Any help is appreciated!!!

    Hello, I sent out my BEC & REG exam application today and hopefully I will get in a few days. I plan to take BEC in January.

    @bobby The profitability index also comes into play:

    125/500 = .25
    75/250 = .3
    25/150 = .16
    50/100 = .5
    50/150 = .33

    Project 3 has the lowest PI, so 2, 4, and 5 would be the projects to invest in since they have the right IRR for the company, have an initial investment of 500 which is the max, and have higher profitability.

    @Jennifer I just recently got back my score and didn't pass again. How are you going to restudy for this? I made a 66. Are you waiting for the diagnostic report to see what areas to focus on, or are you just going to work through your prep course? Currently using Roger & Wiley.

    Hey @Jennifer we are gonna crush this beast! If it weren't for the economic concepts and financial management sections I would've passed so I'm definitely gonna give those sections a close review. What topics trip you up?

    @AScott89 Econ for sure tripped me up. I'm pretty sure I messed up every question I had on that topic, so I was pretty sure I couldn't pass this time. I plan on hitting that hard, as well as financial management stuff.



    @houston2017     I think I'm going to start going back through the Wiley software this time. I'm hoping staying on track with the plan will help me on the concepts, and then I'll use the Ninja test bank to seal it. I love the Ninja bank and used it exclusively this year. It was my saving grace and helped me finally get close to the end.
