thanks NGUY and Shay. this plan of doing 70 to 90 mc's a day, 30 mc's at a time is working well. i'm reading the ninja notes 30 pgs at a time. have finished reading 2x.

didnt do so well in sims. 🙁 progress tests are around 60. but everytime i do mc's i'm re-learning the concepts. moved to wiley today. i think i'v memorized the becker questions even the wrong one's.

still need to finish some sims tonight. work on weak areas. for me 1. transaction cycles, ratios, audit sampling.

@ shay i'm following your lead. will do a complete exam tom. 4hrs straight. will post results when i'm done.

i saw a couple of sims on ratios in becker. one was ok but the other was a nightmare!

how important are ratio's?

I am feeling pretty bad because I have decided not to study for a whole month at least and hold on to pursuing the CPA becuase my family is feeling that I am neglecting them. I have too much on my plate just like all of you…I have to take time off. Do you recommend for me to get new updated notes and books if I decide to start again next year? What has been your experience? I appreciate your feedback

I have only tried to pass AUD and I took it twice and got a 71 first and then a 70. I have to note that I didn't put the minimum hours required. I can tell that once I put more time studying I will pass. Thank you for your feedback. If I decide to get back to studying on 2013 would you recomend to get Becker 2013 when I have all the books and CDs for 2012?

Maybe I'll keep reading and working on some questions in October so I don't lose anything that I already learnt and memorized. I'll just study the right amount of hours but spread to a longer period.

@ Alpha, ratios are important. The last simulation I got was about Ratios and I didn't noticed that I only had 10 min left to go over that one that I new very well, but my brain froze when I noticed how little time I had. I didn't know how to do a simple division and it didn't occur to me to do it on the calculator that is on the research tab. You need to know the formulas of the most common ones . You need to know the accounts that affect each ratio. For example if Inventory is higher in year 2 vs year 1 does the Inventory turnover ratio increase or decrease? So you need to know the formulas and accounts that are impacted.

@ Shay about that simulation it's requesting you as the accountant or auditor what will be your advice to Management. If there confirmation says that the ending balance of the AR account is different that the current balance. You will recommend to post an adjustment to reflect the correct balance. What would you do questions?
