@Qlad I meant to say I've gone through everything once, so for my final review I plan on mostly focusing on tax. Some areas of law I knew pretty well, others I kind of struggled on, but the way the test is weighted I figure I might as well just make sure I have the tax areas as well-prepared as possible.
im doing becker, on R2, and i am having a mental breakdown. There are soo many %s and “if this then that”, how the hell am i supposed to study for this? somebody please HELP, i think im gonna curl up & cry.
@golfball773 According to Cpaexcel I'm about halfway through. I had trouble with business law, basically learning the new jargon. I just finished the individual tax section and feel like I learned nothing. So I'm gunna redo those lessons till I get it. How about you?

I am almost done with the CPAExcel lectures. The lady is much more entertaining that the guy in my opinion. Hopefully by Friday or Saturday I can start applying that knowledge to MCQ.
I was going to take it on 5/30 as well, but my wife and I are taking a weekend B&B trip on memorial day weekend and she didn't want me to have my last week of studying looming over my head…..
I been sick the last two days, so I need tofish the videos today and tomorrow.
Just finished partnership…Not bad at all got 78% i think on the HW. I also think that hitting the gym on my lunch, eating healthy food (even though i loveee junk food and sugar) and having a max of 4 hr study has helped a lot this week! Hopefully i can finish R4 this week and review R1-3.
It seems like the majority of ya'll are using Becker, but for those who are using CPAExcel do you find the lecture videos useful? I started studying for REG 3/17 and my target date to take the exam 4/30, with a week prior focused on review. For FAR I focused on videos and went through MC/ SIMS twice during the last week for review and it seemed to have worked. I'm just wondering if I should be reading the textbook instead…but I got super bogged down doing this for FAR so my professor advised me not to. However, I feel like with REG there's so much more to remember theory-wise ( I know it sounds ironic) Either that or I'm just hitting into panic mode already. I'm currently only at 40% done, doing purely videos and MC. I haven't started on the true tax information yet, still stuck on business law.
I am actually using CPAexcel and after watching most of the tax videos, I found that just writing notes and looking at the slides were much more efficient. However, I forgot a lot of my law knowledge and the JD that does videos actually does a good job using good examples from her life, etc.
I know that I learn better by doing mcq, but I need the underlying framework. I am just trying to finish the videos so I can start actually learning the material with problems, etc. I don't know what else to say as I have failed 3 times already so I am trying tsomething new this time.
Dreaming…Of Being Finished..I Must Have The Final 3 Passed By November..How Many More Times Must I Take This Test. Omg…I Can't Grasp Stock ISO And Espp…Never Fails And Trust …Any Help Will Help.
