I saw a thread like this for 2018, so I’m starting a new one for 2019.

Here’s where I’m at so far:

1/7/19 — mailed in full application form along with check, except for work experience certificate
1/9/19 – delivered to CBA (based on UPS tracking #)
as of now – check not cashed yet
Heard the CBA is very slow – let’s see how long it will take…

    BEC - 94

    REG - 82

I'm still waiting on what the CBA said would only take a week. That license tech must be lagging.

Wow it is really fast! I had a look at the 2018 thread and a lot of ppl spent at least 3-5 months to get their license. It looks like they are picking up now.

@gieseoff man i wish my turnaround was that fast. I sent my application 10/23/18………received my request for $120 (well $60) saying i was pre-approved around late November but it sat on my inbox till 1/5/19. I sent a money order with that payment, i know they received my letter with check the following week…its 1/30 and still no word.

update, called CA and i guess they are currently processing those that paid their pre-approval checks at 1/8/19….so its 1/30 now. It will take another 3-4 weeks to actually issue the license after that. I say best bet for CA, it takes 6 weeks after paying the $120 to get the license .

I sent in my application and check on 1/7, they received it 1/9. I just got the letter from them today 2/2 (May have been sitting in the mailbox for a day or two) saying they received my application, which was dated 1/25. They still haven’t cashed the check though so hoping they do that sometime this week.
