Hi all,

Thought I would start up this thread if anyone else is sending in their CA license application around this time. I will keep it updated and hope to help anyone else going through the same process. I really hope I get my license by 12/31/13 so I can truly say I am class of 2013! Sent my paperwork in via certified mail – return receipt. Now the waiting game begins…..

So, I just read on CBA website that I'll have to wait for the notification letter with the Live Scan form. Can you tell me how long it takes to get it after your last passing score is posted? I'll find out my AUD score on 11/22 and I was wondering if it gives me enough time to apply in December …assuming of course that I pass AUD and PETH….

tough_kitty – I don't know what you are referring to! I did my live scan and they send the result to CBA and you take your copy, and they give you a separate coy to send in with your application…. Also, if you pass in 2013, you can still apply under the old pathways until 12/13/15. SO I don't think you need to rush. But I am still unclear what you are talking about. Were you reading the options for getting the application packet mailed to you? If so I highly recommend you just take the application off the website and send it in.

@tough_kitty Yeah I'd go with what littlenumberrobot says and just print the forms out yourself from the CBA's website. Otherwise you have to wait for the letter to come from the (I can't recall how long it took to arrive, a couple weeks maybe?).

I was looking at the Live Scan website and it says I need to bring the form which I'm supposed to receive from the institution requesting the service so I was wondering how do I get it. Just found it on the CBA website! Thanks!

omg this ca ethics exam is soo draining… mainly since after all 4 parts i really dont want to do more thinking….

marti1225 – the ethics exam is awful. Aside from being stupid, what's up with the 90 needed to pass?? Are they kidding, since when is 90 a minimum passing grade? The whole thing is ridiculous.

littlenumber – any more progress? Omg, it is SO much more fun to look for your name on the website than to check for scores! With scores there is the possibility of heartbreak. Looking for your name, it's just a matter of time and it is fantastic to see your name and number pop up. 😉

Marti- ethics exam is just their evil way of saying haha you're not done yet!!! I took 4 tries. It was more devastating every time I passed since it was open book, for me at least!

Eve SoCal – no news since my check being cashed hoping to get my 30 day letter before thanksgiving. I have been checking the site, no new licenses since the 10/30/13 group. They must do them in shifts

@littlenumberrot Where do you check the most recent group of licenses being issued?

@dodgerdawg – Well my guess is they are issuing licenses just not updating the site! I copied this from someone else on this forum. Right now the highest license number is 120876 issue don 10/30/13. But this is just according to the website.

That site isn't updated. My license number is a little past that number and I received the certificate on 11/06. I'm still waiting for them to put me up on the online database. =/
