Hi all,

Thought I would start up this thread if anyone else is sending in their CA license application around this time. I will keep it updated and hope to help anyone else going through the same process. I really hope I get my license by 12/31/13 so I can truly say I am class of 2013! Sent my paperwork in via certified mail – return receipt. Now the waiting game begins…..

Okay, so I am stressing out already. Per the USPS website my application package has not been delivered yet. I sent it certified/return receipt. It says it was processed in Sacramento on 10/25. I don't really know what to do about this 🙁

Thanks for the reply acamp. I just looked up the tracking of some confirmed delivered certified mail from my clients, and sometimes there is a delay between “delivery” and the signing of the return receipt. I may wait until it has been a whole two weeks from since I mailed it before calling.

I'm with acamp, i just sent mine normal mail.

What's killing me now is I sent in my license fee early last week and they still haven't even cashed my check yet. Never have I been more excited to see money go out of my bank account!

Sent my license fee check on 10/17, they finally cashed it yesterday 11/05.

YAY!!!! The check just cashed wooo hoooo!!!!!!!!!! Like dodgerdawg said, never been so happy to see money leaving my bank account. Next time screw USPS. They are bs!! haha. I'm excited now 😀

Congratulations! I guess they cash the checks in waves like test scores or something? You think a place like this would practice better internal controls and cash checks in daily.

@Faintear – yeah I suppose. I hate the feeling that I need to baby sit them to make sure my stuff gets done! I have no faith in them haha. But so happy to see some progress. We may be getting licenses right next to each other ha!
