    for those of you who purchased the additional question from Gleim, can you install the software on two computers? I would really like to have them on both my work and personal computer. I emailed the company through the website and have yet to hear back from them after five days and would like to purchase them soon.

    Yes, I think you can have the software on two computers. I have not exported my status from one PC to another.

    I'm using Wiley for the first time. FAR is very hard to grasp. There is about 44 hours of video, 1200 MC questions (from the test bank), and lots of homework assigments. I'm stressing out and my test isn't until 8/12.

    Could somebody please tell me how they studied with Wiley? Is two hours a night and homework enough?

    Vern, after several different attempts at studying w/ Wiley, I have come to the conclusion which works best for me. I hate to read textbooks, so I can't stand reading the wiley book, and it is almost a waste of time. So here is how I do it.

    Watch lecture, and take good notes. Then after lecture do the questions on the wiley cd, and do questions from cpareviewforfree.com. The questions from the wiley software are much easier than those in the book, and plus w/ those and cpareviewforfree, you see the answer and explanation right after answering it. Also I take notes from the explanation. Doing these questions isn't too test my knowledge, it is to learn the material. After I get in practice that way, then I do all the questions for the chapter. Then I go to the answers, read the question and answer it again, and then immediately read the answer. This has been working great for me.

    @ Financeguy….are you doing this 1 chapter at a time or all the dvd's before starting the questions?

    @cpa-valenz

    I originally went through all the dvd's before doing any questions. It was a complete waste of time. I probably retained less than 10%. In fact going through them a 2nd time, most of it seemed like it was the first time I had ever seen it before. I definitely do not recommend watching all the lectures first and then going back and doing questions. I switched it up this time w/ FAR and watched them all first. But I never did that with AUD and BEC. IMO it is much better to do one chapter at a time, lecture and then questions, before moving on.

    Also just about everyday I go onto cpareviewforfree and do review of the older chapters. That way it helps keep things fresh for me.

    For those of you using Yaeger home study – do you do all of the Wiley MC, or just the “required” questions? It just seems like it would take forever to watch all 14 DVD's and then do all of the Wiley MC.

    I have passed all of them except FAR. Each test i did one chapter and then did the questions that go along with the chapter. I had 20 chapters and took about 2 days per chapter. then reviewed and did many, many questions for two weeks until exam. So, i studied about 6 weeks with chapters and then 2 more weeks of review.

    Prayer to St Joseph of Cupertino (Patron Saint of Test-takers) for everyone taking a section this quarter. Particularly those who are re-taking.

    Re-taking FAR tomorrow and made a 83, 76, and 83 on the MC questions on in the mock Becker exam. Does anyone know how this equates to the real test? I have heard that on BEC, Becker exams are more difficult and you usually score higher on the exam. Not sure about FAR though?

    AUD 95 (3/5/10); BEC 83 (5/28/10); FAR 71, 72, 74, 82 (10/16/10); REG 65,80(11/23/10)
    ALL DONE 🙂

    I failed FAR with a 64 and I'm wondering how I get a score analysis. I received my little sheet in the mail that stated I failed but was wondering if there was some way to get a little more detail about what I didn't poorly on. I wanted to check to see if there was some area that I just completely bombed.

    I have a question. I'm redoing the M/C for a Final Review and trying to score above 90%. The question is once I work the m/c a first round, do I need to do them All over until 90% or should I just do those incorrect m/c. It sounds stupid but I have exam in 10 days & I just want to make sure I'm using my time efficiently!!

    Good luck to Everyone Trying to Kill The Beast in this testing window!
