Mponi if I may ask why do folks think yaeger does a better job than Becker in explaining FAR. I used becker and nothing else and I think the material is solid.

@whonis – I don't think Yaeger is necessarily better with FAR…it's just that I had such a great success with Yaeger for BEC and didn't wanna listen to Tim Gearty or Peter Olinto anymore with FAR!! I really like Yaeger's teaching style waaay better and I actually take notes, etc. I get an understanding of the material while we are reviewing it and we go over MCQs and stuff too during the lectures. Becker doesn't do that!

Hey Trevor – I think someone stated this above, but the GMAT is nothing compared with these CPA exams. LOL I really feel that there was nothing more difficult than that FAR exam! LOL

Whonis- I used Becker for all my exams, and passed all on the first attempt. For BEC, remember that Econ is only a small part of the exam, so get the basics but don't dwell on it. In fact when I studied BEC, Chapter 2 was really dragging me down, so I stopped with it and moved onto B3, 4 & 5, then I went back to B-2. The info in the other chapters is far more important in my opinion. Also, make sure you review the technical addendum – it is long an boring, but I tackled it piecemeal and read it over only once, but I think I pulled a couple answers from it on my exam. GL!!
