Guys, when you get a problem that shows a change from SL to double declining. I know is a change of Accounting principal and you treat it as a change in accounting estimate, but do you categorize it as a change in Accounting principal or change in Accounting estimate?

@Gian yup I have gotten honest with myself as to why they are so low. I always had 2 weeks left to go through at least 5-6 chapters. Never redid all the Mcqs and Sims and only did 1 practice exam like the day before the exam. Clearly I was slacking and taking the exam lightly not anymore though.

2014CPA, Im glad you were not taking it seriously, I was afraid you were going to tell me that you were soring is the 80s in all pratice exams and then becuase of test anxiety you scored in the 50s.

Really going to work these next weeks to try to make this fourth my final attempt with FAR. I took it twice in 2011 and then in Q2 2014 to get a 71.

I was using CPAExcel, but I think I took too long to study the material. I'm going to try to take it again early/mid July and am thinking about getting the NINJA MCQ so I have new questions to work through….

To be or not to be a CPA? I failed BEC scoring 71 just as I did 5-6 months ago. Also failed REG miserably. FAR is scheduled for Aug 29, but with the way things look now, I need to also retake these two in this 3rd Q as Audit is going to be expiring in September. Please tell me if this is still possible, really. I don't even know where or what to start with at this point. Should I study FAR first (since I've already paid for it) or should I retake the other two asap and leave July and August to study for FAR, but would that be enough time to study for FAR?

Truly desperate here.. 🙂

I would focus on passing either BEC or REG. If I were you I'd use June to study for BEC and take it early July. Then move back to REG and try to take at the end of August.

While it stinks to lose the money you already paid for FAR, you're close on BEC so I'd really push and try to get it under your belt. You can do it!

Thanks, Elle, but I must pass all three by August because Audit will expire in September. I would hate to have to lose Audit, so I will have to push for all 3 by the end of August.. just a question of which one first.
