I’ve had a few requests for April/May Study Groups…March will be here before you know it.

In order to take an early April exam, you should begin studying…now. 🙂

Yep, if Diluted EPS > Basic EPS, then its antidilutive. Yes, they all have to be calculated separately

Has anyone seen examples with BEPS that include contingent shares?

I've seen conceptual questions related to it…I actually posted a question asking what the relationship between EPS and Contingent shares was, when my old user name got blocked. I still don't know the answer haha

According to Becker, they are part of basic calc. If conditions met by end of period those shares are included in BEPS as of beginning of period.

Has anyone seen that bank drafts are excluded from cash under GAAP, but may be included under IFRS?

Amanda – What did you think of the 2 cash flow SIMS in Becker? Of course, they were the direct method.

I actually haven't done them yet- I've done most of the sims in Wiley because Wiley actually grades them. I was planning on doing some Becker sims tomorrow though!

    No, just a few.

For Cash flows I think the bank overdraft charge is included for GAAP but in the financing section

I've already done maybe 7-8 sims in Becker and probably 15 in Wiley.
