Same- just going through MCQs and practicing journal entries for the answers as I go just to keep it fresh. I'm doing 15 MCQs of each section right now. I don't know why people say not to go through sims- they're a really great way to pull all the info together
Looks good! I'm planning on doing an IFRS review the day before my test too- I'm going to redo the IFRS MCQs in Becker.
Yeah, I've already gone through all the Beckerquestions again, reread the book, done like 1300 questions in the Wiley Test Bank plus some on CPA Review for Free. There are like 25 sections in the Wiley Test Bank for FAR so I'm going through and having it randomly select 15-25 questions and then adding on 1-2 sims for each section too. It's helping me figure out my weaker spots and then I go back to Becker or CPA Review for Free and redo questions in that area.
Answer is A- There is no foreign currency hedge under IFRS. Only Cash Flow, Fair Value, and Hedge of a Net Investment. Becker didn't go over that…just thought I would share 🙂
@jrosen your plan sounds good, i am always short of how much i plan to do at the end of the day. Today had plans to do all reviwing and mcqs F8, Sims of F3,5,6,7,9 and read F9-A. Just the F8 is mostly done just optional are left, and rest all want to finish before going to bed, but too TIRED.. had too much tea already so having Energy drink now lol.

REG : 72 ,80 (2/25) 🙂
AUD : 69,67, 07/23
Just to be sure, if BEPS > DEPS then its dilutive. Also, when calculating we have to calculate each convertible element separately (convertible bonds, warrants, preferred convertible, right?
Yes J.. but remember to include the lesser of each's incremental share effect on the formula first.. in other words if given all three to work with, don't add all of them to the BEPS formula at once, do them one at a time. each time you add one on, compare the new DEPS formula to the other incremental shares left over. if the incremental shares of each of the items left over are more than the DEPS, they are considered anti dilutive and should not be added to the DEPS formula.
AUD: DONE
FAR: DONE
BEC: DONE
REG: DONE
