    @CPA FOR MOM- what cd is this …? i just bought yaeger , like a month back but i am not sure if it has all the updates …

    wen are u planning on taking FAR ? i plan to take it sometime early January ..

    I am curious too I bought FAR from Yaeger in September and I did not receive a CD of updates…

    I first plan to sit for FAR end of Jan but now I'm scared that i may not cover all the portion till mid of February. So I'll decide by end of November

    I've got that info about the july update cd from this site posted by apbandj a month ago.

    “Ha ha – here I am!

    The biggest change that was effective in July is the update to the conceptual framework. I would definitely recommend watching the portion of Cindy's update video which covers that prior to watching the lecture for Module 9.A. It's at the very beginning of the video, so once you get through that part I think you could stop until you have watched all the other modules. The other updates are pretty minor and, in most cases, just enhance material that was already taught. Nothing else completely changed like the conceptual framework did. A lot of the MCQ's in the book and in the Wiley online test bank for Module 9.A are now irrelevant b/c they are related to the old framework.

    I'm planning on taking FAR on Nov 18th… just 3.5 weeks away. I just took AUD yesterday so I'm starting my studying for FAR today. I took FAR a few months ago and was close to a passing score. Do ya'll think it is possible to be prepared for FAR in only 3.5 weeks? I'm planning on studying 20-30 hours a week and trying to put in as much time as possible besides work. I have Becker, the Becker Final Review, the Ninja study guide, and Becker Flashcards. Any suggestions on what to start with or a good study process? I feel like I have too much study material to get through in 3 weeks!

    I'm in a similar situation. I have about 4.5 weeks though and this is my third time, 74 then a 68. My Becker lectures expired but I already watched them twice and I have the Becker text, Becker Final Review, Becker flashcards, Ninja notes, and the Wiley online test bank. I'm hoping all of this will be enough to get me through. I recognize the information as I'm reading it but I'm really counting on the multiple choice to drill it in for me since that's what I slacked on studying the last time. My plans are to read the actual chapters and drill Wiley questions and finish up with the final review. We need to keep each other posted the next few weeks and keep each other on track, we can do it!! 🙂

    Ordered Yaeger CRAM yesterday at 2:30PM and got it today at noon, bought Wiley book at Barnes and Nobles………now I have a week to complete my final review.

    I'm in the same boat guys. Failed FAR with a 67 and took just 4 weeks to restudy. I retake on Tuesday. I don't feel totally ready, but I feel like I know the material better than last time.. I don't think you could ever really feel totally prepared for FAR. We'll see.. Doing Wiley 90 MCQ exams scoring in the 70's. Would like to bring that up to 80's by Monday!

    @CPA FOR MOM its a seperate thing that Yaeger sells. Its for your final review its about 20+ hours long and it is an overview of everything.

    I sitting for FAR in an hour. I'm really nervous. I have been studying for past six months, but i dont feel fully prepared. I keep forgetting stuff….ughhhhh!!! Its so frustrating. Lets see how it goes.
