    T-Rex,

    Me and my hippie boys all got haircuts yesterday. I've been working out more than once a week and trying to wean myself off coffee.

    I weighed this morning. Probably an all time high 🙁

    @Allyson,

    Isn't it nice to be able to do simple things like get a haircut? Good for you for cutting back on the coffee! That is tough to do. I usually go the cold turkey route, but it results in a horrendous headache for a day or two. Before I overcame my addiction several months back, I was drinking about 8 cups a day. I did have a cup the day of my exam and one cup the day before my exam, but that was it. I feel much better when I'm not dependent on caffeine. I do miss the taste of coffee though!

    Gaining weight is no fun, but you'll drop it now that you're not having to sit on your butt and study all the time. Exercising is awesome and so good for you!

    @Megan,

    Too funny! Congrats on baby #2! I bet you'll enjoy getting organized again. It feels good! I'm still working on my house and trying to get into some sort of daily routine.

    Same here, Acct! I'm now getting about 7 hours of sleep each night. That's better than 4 to 6. My goal is 8 to 9 though. I'll get there I love to sleep!

    Goodnight!

    Working full time at night, attending courses in the late afternoon and evening and studying for the exam did a number on me.

    1) I suggest serious time management. I did the whole my life is the CPA exam, studying on Christmas and NYE with work and courses in between. It might not work for everyone, but stick to a schedule!

    2) Eat healthy, fruits, salads. Its better than the HCFS stuff in most candies and sweets.

    3) If you are doing the coffee, one before work, tea at lunch, and a cup coffee whilst studying. Don't down it in all one sitting.

    4) Keep your eyes healthy. Look away from your monitor from time to time. Feel free to blow up your browser, word processor, excel worksheets beyond 100% viewing.

    5) Keep a positive attitude.

    Peanut, I suggest Sensodyne, I swear by it. I have been brushing too hard for the past few years and got some serious hot cold sensitivity. After 2 weeks, gone nearly completely. 🙂

    @T-rex

    8-9 hours would be great!

    Unfortunately I didn't go to sleep before midnight 🙁 It ended up being around 1:30…but I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend, and hopefully that will start off a week of normal sleeping hours! I'm actually getting a little hoarse and feeling slightly under the weather – staying up late must finally be catching up to me 🙂

    Enjoy a relaxing weekend everyone!
