Aren't you supposed to do 5 short paragraphs for each WC? Intro, 3 supporting, and a conclusion. I did less than that. One of my WCs, I only did 3 paragraphs. Man, I can't write that fast. Ugh. At least it's only 15% of the grade.

I spent too much time on AUD probably and not enough on BEC. BEC was a real rush job cause I wanted to get my scores by September 20th, otherwise it would be November 4th. I wasn't able to finish all the Ninja MCQs. Really wish I had done BEC before AUD. My original plan was to do the hardest exams first. That's why my order was FAR-REG-AUD-BEC.

But man, BEC was way more of a pain in the ass than AUD. Everyone says BEC is so easy, blab blah, especially on the accounting subreddit. All those annoying complicated word problems in Ninja MCQ took f'in forever to get through.

I agree, I thought BEC was going to be a walk in the park seeing everyone getting high scores. Boy, I sure was wrong and nearly wrecked myself on the exam. Hoping for a passing score for you bud.

Does anyones else has a hard time loging in? It took me about 5 tries.

Rosys reaction to carcadian number of paragraphs was priceless. Rofl.

I think I did four prargraph per WC but I was not aware of a required amount.

I thought they only required 1 essay…. 🙁 Circadian you nailed AUD!!

I think they either want to keep updating the forum or they keep having tech difficulties I've been having trouble since Wednesday.

we always hear that BEC is the least hard (ain't not easy ones) among all for! from my experience, BEC was the most challenging. I've already passed FAR & BEC awaiting my AUD score on the 20th, I can assure you, BEC is not a walk in the park (not even close. it was my hardest section, lots of different subjects. so, I won't recommend anyone underestimate it.

Thank you Samer. I too have passed FAR and REG waiting for AUD score. But I get the feeling BEC is just as hard as all of them

CPAExcel wasn't so bad but Ninja….oh boy. Operations Management, Strategic Planning, and Financial Management are huge time sucks. Many long complicated word problems that you would find in an algebra class but worse…. I like algebra but it takes a while to know how to work all the twists/turns these questions give you.

Corporate Governance, Economics, and IT were much less time consuming. I get the feeling that none of the review courses know what is really on the exam for IT.

I took audit more than 2 months ago and failed with a 56. I spent about 150 hours “studying.” Ill be retaking it in exactly 3 week. Lets see if I can pull 19 points. Chapter 1 here I come!

I'm mostly a lurker on these boards.
AUD has been hateful for me, as it is not to my mindset. I've spent many hours on it, seemingly more than others.
I got my score yesterday morning, and close but didn't make it. I really thought I had and was ready to celebrate.
I too talked to the walls and the wife. She'd a phenom test taker, whereas I am not. That doesn't help morale.

I hope you beat it. I find Circadian's test score impossible to imagine.
I am not particularly happy with Wiley study materials now, and need to diversify.

What is the difference between Preparing and Compiling Engagements? I feel as if they are the same thing.. Taking information/data and making that into financial statements.

It does sound like its the same thing but from my understanding the difference between the two is that, preparation is drafting or preparing FS from scratch by using client's data. Whereas Compliation is putting together pieces of Financial statement information already generated by client in proper FS format and just reading it for obvious misstatements.
Not sure if that is the actual difference, I could be wrong.
