Dammit dtatham. So sorry but you have the right attitude. Keep on trucking. You will get through this. I failed REG first then went 4/4. There are others I know that just give up.

Keep pounding the MCQ and I know you have the concepts down. Just strengthen it up more. I will still be here to lend support for everyone since others gave me support as well.

I go back and forth from feeling sorry for myself to just telling myself to suck it up. Moping about it won't accomplish anything. Giving up will only bring regrets in the future. Any advice for those who have retaken AUD I'm all ears. Making up 11 points seems pretty far fetched, but anythings possible! haha

@dtatham10- damn that sucks! I am so sorry. I had the stunned, pissed off, I could not have done more feeling after my BEC fail last score release and also had the yell at the wall talk to the husband about why I am doing this to myself moment. Hang in there, and yes in the end I realize that quitting would only piss me off even worse at some point in the future.

and they ask me why I drink...

@dtatham10 Man that sucks. I know the feeling. to be honest 11 points sounds like a lot but if you focus 100%+ it is doable. I scored a 66 on FAR the first time, second time I gave it my all and I got a 76. I like your positive thinking. The State Board of Accountancy is not going to defeat us. patiently waiting for my score…. ugh

Dtatham, it's not far fetched. You were probably tricked with the questions. Like you said, one word changes the game. You know what you can do? While practicing MCQ, change the wording around of how they can trick you and write down the best answer with three similar answers. Now you have to visualize what they're going to do next time. Do the same thing in regular review as if you've never seen the material before. Very easy to skip and say yea I know this. In fact, you might catch or read something you never knew before.

out of curiosity (and since the MCQ vs Actual Scores thread seems dead) – for everyone that got their score back, what was your trending looking like?

I hate the waiting game and trying to hold on to any hope I can that the 20th will go well.

@dtatham10 you can definitely pick up 11 points. I scored a 68 (I think) on my first attempt at FAR and got a 78 the second time. Go through the information like it's brand new.

I was trending exactly at 83 during the whole review until the week of the exam, I went up to 87%. That was because I was getting more repeats during the week of exam. My actual score was 83.

dtatham – also if it seems they worded the question in a way you don't understand it clearly talk to yourself outloud, what topic is it refering to, is it asking for the best answer or for the wrong anser. Things that make it all clearer in your head. Then go option by option and try to defend your case as of why it is or it isn't the correct one.

allaboard – most of my trending on PE was low 70s and I scored 76 on the actual. I used Becker.

I don;t know my score yet, but my trending score with Becker was low-mid 90s and low to mid 80s with Ninja. Hopefully that's a good thing.

95 on AUD!! My average score on Ninja was 81 and trending was 83. I don't use Ninja MCQ in the that way most people do. I do the questions by category and only new questions, never have enough time to do repeat questions. So the trending doesn't mean much in my case.

Unfortunately, today's BEC experience was not so great. Was guessing big time on a lot of questions and my memos were very, very crappy. Ran out of time. I'm a really slow, crappy writer. I really hate writing even though reading is my greatest pleasure. Takes a while for me to gather my thoughts. 55 minutes was definitely not enough time to write 15 paragraphs.
