How was your timing? I haven't taken this exam yet, but I plan on purposely going slow through the mcq's to make sure I'm correct. I don't want to leave a ton of time on the clock when I'm done with the sims.

I went in planning on doing 45 minutes for each of the MCQ testlets and 15 minutes for each SIM. I know I didn't use all that on the first testlet but kind of lost track where I used more/less. At the end of it all I left 15 minutes on the clock mostly because I was sick of looking at it.

Man, what's kind of scaring me is reading other people post about there “far sims” showing up in there audit exam.

I'm not sure if it's the same for every state, but in Ohio it's basically a CPE course. Someone else in my department just did it – she said there a few you can pick from (they are approved by the state) and they sent her a PDF of the information. I think there are some that offer videos or in-person classes. She read through the PDF and took the test online. Sounded pretty painless.
