@patel I saw an A71 video last weekend where Jeff was answering user questions. This question was brought up and he suggested a last minute dive into the sampling material in chapter 5 (becker, not sure what it is for Ninja material).

I personally don't like to do much studying the night before but if you are set on doing so that might be an area worth looking at. Good luck tomorrow let us know how it goes!

@aatoural Thank for encouraging words. Believe it or not convincing yourself you are ready and smart enough and saying you will pass the exam before going in, definitely helps increase morale. It's really important to not be scared and nervous going in rather ready to attack and crush the exam

    @dtatham10
I hate Sampling mad confusing :/

**Anyone can please assist me with what to look up in the FAR becker book. I know this is a repeat question but I can't locate previous post **

    Thank you

    Good luck Patel!!..

It seems adjusting J/E are important from what people have said. I plan on doing a little refresher via google or youtube about it.

Also, I noticed that with these exams, they ask atleast one question about everything, so be a little familiar with it all. including chapter 6 in Becker. That's just my opinion. I haven't taken AUD yet and Im in the same situation as you. Hopefully we both pass and can be done with these exams!.

I have also seen some comments out there about people surprised at how much governmental questions there were. Might be worth looking into that if you aren't real confident in that area.

    EHHH???

Which of the following procedures would an auditor most likely perform to test controls relating to management's assertion about the completeness of cash receipts for cash sales at a retail outlet?
a.Trace the deposits in the cash receipts journal to the cash balance in the general ledger.
b.Inquire about employees' access to recorded but undeposited cash.
c.Observe the consistency of the employees' use of cash registers and tapes. CORRECT
d.Compare the cash balance in the general ledger with the bank confirmation request.

@aatoural that one confuses me simply because I have no idea what a “cash tape” is…if someone could explain that I might be able to make more sense of it.

Cash tape can be the adding tape when counting cash at the end of the day or the tape that the register prints. Cash registers have two tapes. One to print receipts for customers and internal tapes. That's what I think it is.

tapes is the roll of paper used in the receipt printing.

    a. – wouldn't tell you anything about what's happening at the point of sale.
    b. – this wouldn't tell you about any $$ that went straight into someone's pocket and wasn't recorded
    c. – observe what actually happens at the register, this will tell you the process employees' follow and if they are diligent about following the procedures so you get the documentation of every sale.
    d. – the bank wouldn't know about $$ they aren't receiving

    does that help at all?

I guess I wasn't thinking in terms of an auditor watching a cashier doing that, I was more focused on the paperwork to proof the test..

    Thanks guys!
