So it sounds like everyone is getting blind-sided with IT/COSO!?

Does that mean people aren’t getting much computation problems? I am dreading getting those questions. My exam is Thursday and I can’t stand trying to memorize all of these long formulas!

How do you exactly study for IT? What would you do differently after taking the test?

How's the studying going? I still have 150 questions not answered correctly in Ninja w/ 99 hours of studying. I should hit the review phase tomorrow. Still not feeling confident about Thursday. We will see!

it all comes down to whether or not u get the IT exam of death that I got. If you do…then you better either be an IT expert, or be a very lucky guesser.

I don't feel ready for Thursday either. I'll just take it anyways and if I don't pass (*knock on wood*) at least I'll know what to expect.

Ryan: May I ask what review course you use? I already feel like Roger is covering so much info regarding IT but I honestly hope I don't get the IT exam of death as you call it. lol

@Ryan, I'm sure you did fine. All of these tests are weighted the same, the problem is that people pick what's important during prep.

    Corporate Governance (18%)
    Economic Concepts and Analysis (18%)
    Financial Management (21%)
    Information Systems and Communications (17%)
    Strategic Planning (12%)
    Operations Management (14%)

There is still a possibility that you crushed the other sections while you were pissed off at the blindsided IT sections. You never know. When I took it back in May, I thought it would be all Finance/Cost Accounting, and that's probably why I failed.

How do I study for COSO!? Using NINJA and Becker specifically!

My exam experience was very similar to Ryan's test. You want the computational questions, as crazy as that seems because at least those will be representative of what you studied for. It's rather hard to get IT questions correct when they're not in your review materials and you haven't encountered the material. Good luck everyone who's taking it soon.

    @ryan @nolan7120 @mtaylo24

Does anyone know how the NINJA MCQ practice BEC test works with the written communication? I see it gives a box to type, but I just skipped that, and answered the quick mcq's after. Does it actually grade the written portion?

Ps. I skipped most of the computational problems (except for the short ones), and just focused on the other types of questions. If I skipped a question, does it count it as zero? In all, I scored a 69 so I wasn't that upset!

@AMCcpa, not sure how it works, but im not even going to bother w/ it. I got stronger on that last time without even studying. I have a few examples in the Gleim book that i will skim prior to test time.
