@Cynthia TX candidates can check their scores on the gateway the day NASBA releases also, just in case you didn't know 🙂

@Maura I received mine the week before March 5th. I'm a TX candidate, and my Jurisdiction ID is my TX control number. There are some other states that also have listed on the second page of that thread what it is for those states (NY, for example, is the NY ID, I believe). I don't see DC listed there, but maybe you have an ID from the DC board that you could try?

Hi guys,

Congratulations, probably you have seen this post before. For those who passed BEC please I need advice about how to handle it. Took the exam 5 times my scores all in 70s except last time was 67 which was kind of shocking to me. Initially I used Becker then got gliem. Many ppl advise me with ninja which I will go for. Please let me know what I can do else.

@TerriSilva First time I used Ninja MCQ's and Becker Sims (didn't really practice the SIMS) and got a 73. This was before the 2017 changes went live. Then I scored a 71 (after the exam changed)..again didn't practice SIMS heavily since I just moved to a new place and was adjusting. This time I did the same but practiced sims a lot more, making sure I did each question 2x and scored in the 60s, which was shocking. I have yet to see my score report…not sure where to retrieve that from. Usually I get that by email within a couple days and it hasn't come through yet so I don't know where I'm strong/weak. Last time I was strong in MCQ's and weak in SIMS.

I just passed my AUD with 81. I practiced with Becker Review. I just did all Lectures, MC, Sim, Skill Practice and Progress Test. Tips: if you don't remember the knowledge at the first time you face it, don't worry. Keep practicing with Becker. If you complete all of them, then you'll be fine. Becker is designed to repeat the knowledge over and over until you remember it.

I passed AUD with a 90. My best advice would be to study multiple choice and reread your textbook… I had becker and only read/mcq. I did not do the skill practices or practice sims because the ones on the exam are so different.

So happy to see that I got an 82 for REG! I am FINALLY DONE with this chapter in my life 🙂 Now to apply for some colleges that offer Accounting Ethics online!

For the ones who passed BEC, how did you guys study for the WC? Can you still pass by scoring lower on the WC?

@aimhigher I didn't really study for the WC on BEC so much as I read up on how the “robot computer” grades the submissions. Proper paragraph structure, sentence structure, good grammar, using buzz words several times, etc. I walked out not really knowing how well my grade would be in the WC portion. I passed, but I wasn't given a report of how well/poor I did in WC. I think that since it's a small(er) percentage of your overall grade, you'll probably be fine if you do poorly on WC and well on the rest – but WC is usually “easy points,” so brush up on your writing skills.
