Hello All!

Just completed my Audit Exam and whooop- this seems like a fail!

The MCQs were actually manageable like the normal MCQs, you know some and you don’t know some. Definitely noticed an increase in difficulty on the second test-let but not withstanding, it was doable!

Now the SIMs! Omg, throughout the exam, I kept regretting why I had not done this exam before this change. FYI, the AL is not a solution with this new exam! It couldn’t help me for ANY of the sims! They were all subjective and I had to guess on all of them!

I’m too frustrated to even think about the wait? I don’t think I have a chance at this even if I score high on the MCQs. And I have FAR scheduled for July! please advice/encourage/motivate/pray/wish me goodluck. Will be highly appreciated.

Have to agree with @NinjaSlayer. Some people would say just pound the MCQ, but I personally disagree with them. Once you pounded the MCQ for the ten thousand times you getting nothing except diminishing returns IMO.

I worked through ALL of Gleim sims multiply time each day in addition to their MCQ until my eye bleed. Some of their sims were pretty similar to the real exam. Probably the best investment I will make in my life.

@SallyCPA I personally felt like it did. I bought it when I found out I was weaker on sims on my first attempt.

Only thing I will regretted with FAR is I didn't practice some of the sims topic on Gleim enough because I hated them. Guess what? They came for me on the exam. I would definitely leave no stone unturn for the sims.

I failed with 72 and it was my3 rd try and my last exam as well. I ran out of time and did not finish sims..I hope there would be a miracle but there is not. I feel your pain. We will get it next time.

@QueenCPA- your predictions were accurate!! I passed with 77, not a great score but spending time on sims got me over the hump. I wish you guys the best luck in your future endeavors.

Guys.. I found out I failed and with a low 65. Devastated, frustrated.. can't even start. I AUD 5/7 and BEC 5/30 so hoping at least I passed one out of two. Was planning to take REG by 10/1 and wondering if I can push to re-take AUD by 9/2 (hoping to take memorial weekend off after working horrible hrs the past 2 months) PLEASE PLEASE ADVISE.I don't know what to do and my level of desperation is out of my control. Goal is to be done with this nightmare in 2017.
