MemberI'm planning on taking an enjoyable vacation or two this spring & summer & I love having some time in between the tests to detox (work off the 10 lbs a test makes me gain sitting 24/7).
I thought about speeding my test window up for BEC to July – – it would be nice – to finish… but I'm not in a huge rush – no big job deadline – when I finish I'll start looking for that next level position – and when I find the right one I'll move – but no rush. I'm truly hoping something opens up at our corp offices in the mean time…

InactiveREG is next for me on 4/30.. My review classes don't start until next Saturday so I'm spending this week doing everything I won't have much time for once I start studying. I've been listening to the Ninja audio to try and get familiar with the material before my classes start.
So far I've failed the other three sections of the exam, so hopefully I will see my first passing score with REG!

MemberHello Reg fam! How is the progress? I've so far completed R-1, wrote 18 F/C; sims outstanding.
Now, questions, questions. Does any one know if Wiley Reg sims are included in test bank as offered by Jeff or sims have to purchased as stand-alone/add-on separately?
Or perhaps, somebody can suggest an alternative to Wiley's?
I'm interested only in sims for REG and maybe MCQ.
This is in addition to Becker since i'm worrying that those sims might not be enough or would they be enough for REG? Anyone who had experience with one or both, please chime in. Thanks in advance.

InactiveI know for audit there were tons of sims in Wiley, which I used to supplement Becker. I, also, noticed that some of them were the same, which I felt gave me more practice.
Ok, on to finish R1 in Becker…bbl.

MemberREG is up next for me. I need to keep my ego in check for this one. Last time – fresh off my AUD pass – and with tax experience in my background – I blithely thought “I got this!” – I did complete all of Becker's MCQ's and SIMS homework – and thought “this will be enough”.
Then I got my score. I didn't study enough; I didn't RTFQ! I couldn't believe it.
I'll go through the BLaw stuff first. I need more time to “review” and build on the memorizing (not just the last two weeks before the test). The Becker practice tests only give you like “5” BLaw question to review in each practice session; and that's not enough for me. Using my new “note taking while answering Becker questions” strategy, I can pass this time! I should have a full set of BLaw notes to read during my morning/evening commute by mid-April. That's two hours of study time every day for almost six weeks. It'll be like a song; if I sing it enough times, I will memorize the words to it!
I'll start my Tax chapter review mid-April, so that all the Tax material (which is 80% of the exam) will be FRESH in my mind before I take the exam . . . not stale and buried under the recent BLaw information.
I've got another week off – to celebrate my niece's birthday – to finish my taxes. Then – I hit the books and say “NO” to anything that isn't work or CPA study.
Good luck to everyone!

MemberDoes anyone know whether the real REG test includes an access to UCC (uniform commercial code) in addition to the IRC for the research question? In other words, should I expect a research question derived from UCC?
