@sapna1208 : STCG from mutual funds are treated as ordinary dividend income and is not netted against the LTCL and will be included in computation of book and taxable income. Hence the increase is $5000 LTCL M-1 reconciliation. Hope this is helpful. The explanation is on pg.709 wiley.

Anna – didn't you just start taking the 5 hour energy? Maybe you aren't doing so well on them…. Try skipping a day?

:). I look at answers, but if i knew the answer right away I just skim the explanation, if i dont know it or guessed i read it and review in notes or rewrite. I have 4-5 hours from now I do them in sets of 24 for REG if I get in 8-9 sets ill be happy. If I don't get them in I'm ok with it, but it's a goal. This is my last push giving it everything I've got!!!

That's 48ish questions and hour, about what I need to do on the exam if I want an hour and a half for SIMs.

    A - 61, 91!!
    B - 78!
    F - 76!!!
    R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!

see – I study from 8-10. 2 hours in the evening… at least for tonight. 200 MCQ in 120 min is doable – but not with reading answers & taking notes!! 🙂 at least not for me.

I ended up doing about 220 MCQ last night in a little over 4 hours.

I never feel ready for these exams and this is no exception. I'm hoping the MCQ help me cause the SIMs scare the shot out of me!

    Just under 48 hours!

    A - 61, 91!!
    B - 78!
    F - 76!!!
    R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!

Having gone through all the MC twice for each chapter, what do you think is my best course of action for these next two weeks?

    Nonstop progress tests?

@audiox I would suggest, if you have not been doing it, progress tests where the questions are mixed (i.e. not all from the same topic) so you can get practice switching from b-law, personal tax, corp tax, partnership tax and back again!

Do you have NINJA notes? Maybe rewrite those or your own notes.

    Good Luck!

Ah well, I had the chest pain before the 5 hour energy. I think it's just test anxiety. I'm making headway but slowly. I'm taking more walks and doing deep breathing. It helps some.

200 questions in a night is HUGE! You go!!! I'm happy if I get half that done.

Hoping to get almost done with chapter 8 tonight. I am about 70% done with the video and questions. I've been watching the video, taking notes, and then doing questions. It's slow, but affective. (Although I'm slacking on chapter 8 notes…what a hodgepodge of crap that chapter is. Ack!)

Starting Friday, I'm going back and doing all the ones I missed (marked) again. I want to rewrite my notes, too.

    Go team!

@Anna could the chest pain be due to heartburn? I get insane heartburn when I am stressed/anxious to the point it feels like I am having a heart attack. (No worries… no heart problems, been there had that checked out). Maybe try some tums and see if it helps. I took some before all of my exams!

    Good Luck Studying!

I just realized I have a little over 3 weeks until my exam and I'm not done with videos yet!! For some reason I'm having a much harder time balancing study/social time. I was practically a recluse for 6 mos while studying for the first 3 exams and now I feel like if I don't get out and see people I'm going to go crazy. How do you all balance study/social time once you've been doing this for almost a year??? I guess I need to get back to A71 being my family for now haha

Crossing fingers for you to have silent testing neighbors, new marker, and extra minutes on the clock.

Put that NTS in your purse now!!
