AnonymousInactiveHi all, checking in.
I finished tax and am even almost done with chapter 5 now, including notes. I'm really excited to be moving on to something without so much math!
I'm starting to feel the pressure now, as well. 5/22 is the latest I could push my test out to, so I'm really on a mission! I heard 5 hour energy are good. Have any of you tried that? Do you have any other suggestions for keeping energy to study after working a long day? I begin to fade around dinner time. There is just not time now for fading! I thought perhaps I'd try a 5 hour energy around 5pm and hopefully be able to stay awake to study a few hours after I get home.
Oh, has anyone heard about Jeff's family? Is there a new arrival yet? I have actually been studying and not reading the board. I'm interested to hear how wife and baby are doing!
Ok, back to work for me. Talk to you later.

AnonymousInactiveTook an R1-R6 progress test and got a 91… pretty solid. R3 (corporations) are still my lowest scoring area, so I'll focus on that once I get to final review.
Thinking about moving my test up sooner.
On to R7.

N. AlexMemberI did read that some REG exams have 2 research questions. I only got one.. Am I missing something here?

wendywhiteMemberN.Alex – some tests end up with 2 some with one. It happens in the other parts of the exam as well. We believe that one of them is usually a “test” question that doesn't count – but don't know for sure.

wendywhiteMemberAnnaNutha – 5 hour energy are good – no jitters… just don't take them too late in the evening unless you truly want to be up very late.
For me – I work all day too – and so I try to take one around 3pm – it's both my final push at work pick me up – and my study push for the evening.
I also like the java vanilla low cal rock stars… zing!
and sometimes after getting up at 4 am to study I'll put a 5 hr energy in my morning smoothie.
🙂
and then have 2 cups of coffee…

LSNYCMemberWendy – YOU GO GIRL! I am planning big Friday night/Saturday day and night of studying. My husband is out of town and my only obligation is gym class at 11:15 other then that I will be in full study mode! Till then 2-3(4 if i am lucky) a night will need to be enough.
I need to get the Corp, (S and C) Partnership and Individual tax issues down, I sometimes get them mixed up and that inst good at all!
A - 61, 91!!
B - 78!
F - 76!!!
R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!Finally done!
This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

sapna1208Participant@LSNYC : I know its very confusing when u deal with all three big issues at a time…I would recommend to pick one issues at a time and master on it.. I personally feel tax is very boring when we start knowing it…But once u rule out the questions it becomes so interesting…
Happy studyng all..

TripleNetAcctMemberJust finished R1-R4 for the second time. Now, for R5-R8, I had already gone through the material in the lectures but did not take my own notes (this was back in February). Should I now (1) write my own notes using what is highlighted in my Becker book or (2) rewrite the Ninja Notes and use them from here on forward. I am leaning towards working through the Becker book since I haven't written my own notes for those sections yet.
Any suggestions here?!? :/

AnonymousInactiveHey Wendy, thank you! I'll give it a try.
I'm up early, going to get an hour in (while on the treadmill). I'm giving up my regular workouts until this is over…hate to do it, but I'll get in an extra hour by switching.
Go team!
