Jeff,

What is the feeling you get from your contact, do you think they will roll out REG next (tomorrow) or do you maybe get the feeling that it could go either way with FAR possibly being released next (like wave 1)?

Any ideas of what is more likely?

They can actually release FAR before REG?!.. Oh… I guess they can do anything.

I just started working in my company two weeks ago – I can't wait to finally announce that I passed all 4 parts!!! (or to start studying for REG in Jan)

Question to whoever has knowledge on the subject-

So if Reg gets released by AICPA tomorrow, do non-NASBA states ever release on Saturday? I am from Maryland, and they are usually very quick following AICPA, but I am guessing they don't post scores during the weekend.

I took REG Nov 21 and completely agree….maybe we will all get lucky and get a 75 for christmas! lol

Wow, I have heard the same thing from everybody and the same holds true for me. This is my last section and the SIMS were alot harder than any other exam I had taken. And this is my second time taking REG. The first time, I felt the SIMS were relatively easy compared to these. I made a 74 the first time, but mainly bc I didn't have time to study law and ended up making a 53% on the law MC questions. This time around, I was sooo much more prepared, especially on law. And the MC questions were not bad, but those SIMS were just flat out difficult.

Oh well, I am hoping we all get a 75 as they take into consideration the difficulty of the SIMS. Good Luck all!

I thought my sims were ridiculously hard for Reg when I took it the Friday before thanksgiving….Completely unrelated and not what I had studied for….Im just hoping that I pass…its my last part and I really dont want to have to take it again…esp during the beginning of busy season!!!!!! Uggggggh

I don't even know if my sims were hard, maybe if I've ever heard about topics that were tested on them – I could say. They were completely unknown to me. I just randomly put in some numbers and accounts.

What really sucks is that, usually, memos save my life (at least they did on FAR – I left everything blank except for written part).

And this time I wasn't even sure which rule they were asking me about. And research tab didn't help. The most insane exam .

I totally agree with you, tar5011. I'm not keeping my hopes up, but REG is my last score…PLEASE let me get that 75!!! Since I took it in October, it's been murder waiting for my score knowing that the exam was so awful. I took BEC on 11/30 and got my score today. Kinda funny!

I think scores for tests with new SIMS will be compared to each other. Hopefully, we will get our passing scores on Monday as latest.
