    gmb –

I'm in the same situation for FAR, took it 10/1 and got wave 2, lucky us. Also did you mean 1/4th of a year? I think you'd have to call someone if it is taking 9 months to get your score back

    AUD 81 - BEC 89 - FAR 82 - REG 86

    AUD - 84; REG - 90; BEC - 79; FAR - 75; ALL DONE!!

    Hey gmb…

Me too. I took REG 10/2 in FL and still no word. Took BEC 11/2 and got that score back on 11/13 (79). I guess as long as it is a passing score… they can take their time!

MPoni123 – I would like to add comment to Zena's previous response.

You may register to retake any section you need at anytime, if you found out you fail (which I hope you don't fail).

However, you must consider the fact that register for two sections in separate NTSs will cost you more than register two sections in one NTS. Again if you take more than one section in the October/November window, you should wait to get all results (either pass or fail) before you go ahead and register to retake any section you fail.

Remember that there is a re-examination fee, in addition to, each section test fee every time you register. Typically (not all states are the same), register one section is $60 fee, register two sections is $75 fee. Thus, if you register two sections separately you will pay $120 instead of $75.

    I hope this helps.

    Schus,

Thank you for bringing that to my attention, I did mean a 1/4 of a year. But that's still too long!

Thanks, TNCPA. that is a good point! If i take BEC towards the end of January…I probably won't find out my results till the end of February. By then, I won't be able to sit for any in March! But, I will find out my REG score next week so I will have plenty of time to know what I want to do. I have to get motivated with studying for BEC. first chapter is pretty easy and i still have time.

anybody else sitting for BEC in january and since the holidays are here..finding it hard to study?!

    AUD - 84; REG - 90; BEC - 79; FAR - 75; ALL DONE!!

I can't wait for next week!!! LOL

    MPoni123..

I'm studying for Audit (taking it in Jan) and it's so hard to focus when there's so much going on.

    Anyways, all the best 🙂

I'm studying for AUD too. Taking it first week of Jan, actually on my 19th wedding anniversary, LOL. I decided to just keep the momentum going and try not to get distracted with holiday preparations too much. I am also scaling back this year for economic reasons, so that gives me another reason to just keep at it.

Yeah, hopefully I passed regulation! That test was harder than what i was expecting, the simulations were really drawn out and the communication tab was about something i never even heard about. Hopefully i did well enough to pass, I dont want to have to study for that again.

the Becker materials prepared me 100% for my AUD exam that i took in Oct. and i did not even use the final review. REG was a completely different story. my exam was extremely difficult and really in depth!! so who knows.. 1 more week and we will know!!! 🙂

Zena – Congrats on 19th years of marriage.

Can't wait for this week to be over 🙂

I'm trying to stay focus because faster I finish with the cpa exam I would have time for all the other stuff.

Thank you melnp! You are right, the sooner the better. Every time I think I want to take a break or slow things down I can only think that that will only make the whole process last longer…
