I always stay until the last minute of the exam. I need my 75!

My state board says that it is possible to get a score anytime from now till Dec 15, if you took an exam in the beginning of the first month of the window.

    Is this correct?

soon CPA: I'd say anything is possible but based upon everything I've read, it'd be unlikely. I pass the time (I am waiting on my last two scores) by reading the hilarous posts on here. 🙂 My favorite so far is the one about equating a Prometric test administrator with the devil because of how hard an exam was. Cheer up…you'll get your score before you know it! I've decided that the more I agonize about the wait, the slower it will go…

Took it last Wednesday … MC was OK, simulations were awful. This is my 4th time taking it … 69, 69, 70, but I feel better about it this time.

In any case, I want to hedge against the awful. Is there are a way to get your NTS and schedule a new exam time even if you don't know your result? I ask because my other tests begin to expire in March and I don't want to retake any section I've already passed. Plus, work picks up in February and I want to do the exam in January.

you can not ask for a new NTS while waiting for a score. You may ask for one after you fail on a section(s).

Like many of you who have posted, I also took REG earlier this week. It was my 2nd time taking it. The first go round I scored a 65. This is my last portion of the exam and then I'm done (fingers crossed). BEC expires January 3rd, 2010 for me and Prometric offers it in Helena, MT on January 1, 2010 so if I don't pass it looks like I will have a hot mess of a night on New Years Eve!

I read through the Becker book front to back, every page. I completed every single Gleim question, (Becker questions expired on me). All together I put in well over 80 hours of studying. MC were easier I would agree and Sims required you to apply your knowledge to different cases and were much more difficult. Good luck to everyone, looks like NASBA will posted 12/17/2009!

Thanks Jeff, you've done a great job with this site and given hope to the future CPA's of the world!

Jeff – I took REG 11/30 so is it likely that I will find out my score on or around the prediction day? Or…if I got new sims does that mean I will be pushed to Wave 1 of new scores being released?

    AUD - 84; REG - 90; BEC - 79; FAR - 75; ALL DONE!!

MPoni123 – All CPA exam candidates in each testing window will receive their scores by Wave 2 release at the latest. There will not be a score release in the next window for test taken in the previous windows.

That said, you will get your score whenever it is released in this coming Wave 2.

so…if i take BEC in the beginning of january and find out that i failed REG (taken on 11/30), can i still apply for a new NTS to retake REG in either late january or early feb WITHOUT knowing my BEC score? or do i have to wait until i get my BEC score before i can sign up for a new NTS. i wouldn't think that would matter right? my NTS expires in March, but BEC is the last one i need to sit for (relating to this current NTS)…so as long as i already sat for it..nothing will be cancelled out or anything??

    AUD - 84; REG - 90; BEC - 79; FAR - 75; ALL DONE!!

As far as I understand it MPoni123, you can apply for an NTS anytime you like as long as you pay the fees for the sections you are requesting to retake, regardless of your scores, known or unknown, to other sections of the exam.

    FAR 86 | BEC 94 | AUD 90 | REG 85

I took REG on October 1, and still have not received my score. Has anyone else taken the exam on this date or close to this date and not received their score either? I probably had new simuluations, which by the way were beasts.

I think it is completely ridiculous that it may take 3/4 of a year to get an exam score back that is computer graded and internet based.

    FAR-88, AUD-94, BEC-87, REG-90
